Hubdoc - Mark invoice or bills as paid when document mark as 'Paid' in Hubdoc
You can mark bills and invoices as PAID in Hubdoc; this should transfer over to Xero. Otherwise, what's the point?
Hello everyone, I want to get a better understanding of this idea here. Would you think that this can be achieved by selecting the 'Mark as Paid' checkbox? Because if you’ve ticked the box, the document that you’ve published as draft, will change the into Awaiting payment status in Xero - See our article here for more information.

This should be added so when you publish a bill in HubDoc (marking as "Purchase") it should let you mark that bill as paid instead of having to use spend monies or having to go into Xero to mark it as paid.

It is really silly to have to do the payment in Xero if I said it was paid in Hubdoc and I have the receipt. It is a waste of my time.

It should work the other way around as well. Once I reconcile a bill payment in Xero, Hubdoc should be able to automatically mark it as paid.

So you are saying that if I’m in Hubdoc and the item is in “Draft” mode and I click the “Mark as Paid” button, it should change the status to “Awaiting Payment”? If so, there is something wrong with my version of Hubdoc, because that doesn’t work. I can click and unclick the “Mark as Paid” button and all it does is change the “PAID” icon in the top right hand corner of the receipt.
