Xero Tax(AU) - Edit cover letter
Hopefully there will be an editable field / automatic tick box in the Cover Letter for the Tax Returns where the Trustee for the Trust is a Company (Corporate Trustee) where we can put the name/s of the client in the Salutation and not the Corporate Trustee. Our tax returns would show "Dear Company Name" which sounds / looks wrong instead of "Dear Individual Name"

Absolutely. And editing PDF is harder than editing a Word. At least gives us an opportunity to fix it in Word.

Further to Janet's comment, not only is it highly unprofessional, but also highly inefficient. Defeats the purpose of the quick and easy cover letter if you have to PDF edit every time you download. Leaves a wide margin for error.

Totally agree with Janet Sucur's comment.

It is highly unprofessional to have cover letters addressed to "Dear [Trustee Company]" and not "Dear [individual]".
In this day and age of high security concerns, clients are highly critical of anything that doesn't look legitimate.

I cannot believe that ATO cover letters cannot pre fill the individual name if the trustee of a trust is a company or the partner of a partnership is a non individual.
This is absolutely critical.
