  1. Within Xero it is difficult to amend a bill if it has been paid without unallocating the payment. If this payment is part of a large payment run, you have to unallocate the whole paymemt file? this could be across hundreds of invoices. Could there be a way to unallocate a single payment entry from a large batch payment??

  2. You heartily pat yourself on the back for a job well done in the latest blog post re: product updates, while missing the point completely.

    Cool, you now hide empty notes in the financials automatically, but you DON'T recast the numbering of the notes, so I still have to go through and click '...' -> 'Hide' anyway.

    Looking at the Balance Sheet before doing this the numbering goes:
    - 2
    - 3
    - 5
    - 15

    Not very professional now, is it.

  3. We now have a single client record with HQ & XPM but it still does not pull through the client partner & manager from XPM and allow us to filter this way.

    We would find this feature very helpful when bulk updating client access for our team members when they start or depart.

    We also need to be able to export reports from HQ on the filters we apply. Currently even if a filter is applied the export includes all clients and columns and not what is in the filter display.

  4. Xero apps - In Xero HQ we use to have the apps under the explorer tab, to see the most popular apps and what clients are using them. It was highly useful to advise clients when an app was to cease or we were introducing an alternative to see who was using it.

  6. Home page or landing page -- can you put the "go to xero" button on the left of the client's name? The new page makes it so I have to scroll so far to the right to get to those buttons, that I no longer know which client is on which line of the table. It is harder to log in and go directly to my client's books now.

  7. Signed document pack via Xero Sign cannot be archived or removed from the system. Sometimes we have client sensitive information in the pack and wish to remove signed document pack so that other employees cannot view.

  9. Would be useful for tracking purposes to have ability of exporting clients list together with table informing who is subscriber. At the moment even filter like that cannot be applied to display clients in Xero HQ.

  10. Now that you've forcible inserted every single client as a line item in Xero HQ via Single Client Record, we NEED the ability to filter search results to only show client lines with Xero files attached.

    Example: searching for 'Lee' used to result in 3 client Xero files - now it results in 598.

    This is literally unusable.

    EDIT: There is a filter for TYPE of subscription; I do not and could not care less whether a client has a Ledger, GST Cashbook, Starter, Premium, whatever other tier you care to make up.

    I just NEED a tickbox to toggle…

  11. Automated bank rule reconciliation.

    A choice for a bank rule to be automatically reconciled - once created a option to select if you wish for the bank rule to be reconciled to remove the need for manual reconcile.

    This would be ideal for monthly direct debits and standing orders e.g. bank charges, drawings

  14. Please add a column in Xero HQ, not unlike "unreconciled items" that notes the STP status of connected Xero organisations. Options to flag in this column are "STP 2 not setup", "[Year] Finalisation outstanding".

  16. IF statement based on variance data.

    I am not sure if Xero HQ is where it needs to be requested, but the FORMULAS in REPORT EDITING are too strict. Please allow FORMULAS to include VARIANCE data/coloumn. I want to create a report that allows FORMULA to be driven from the variance data only - and not include other bulky data not required. For example, in the attached screenshot - I only want to show the GREEN data. TRADING INCOME = a group of accounts, summarised. Variance coloumns are XERO coloumns.   17. It would be a great help if you could insert a field into the activity page which includes the property address that the invoice is for, so that this would be clear which property the invoice relates to rather than having to go into each invoice to see which property it is for.

  19. I propose an update to the formatting of the cheque stubs so that summarize the list of bills that are being paid by cheque on the stub, not the individual line items.

    I have a client that owns 12 franchise restaurants. Some of the bills that are received have to be split 12 ways. if multiple bills are received, we're looking at that many more lines on the stub. Can we please update the format of the stub to summarize the bills that are being paid to avoid confusion for vendors?

    The attached stub is a payment for 3 bills.

  20. In any particular Xero account, you can review the history notes (essentially an audit log), however we do not seem to have the ability to audit a particular staff member's activity across all clients.

    This would be useful if you have a particular firm employee making the same mistake across multiple reconciliations. You could see their access/activity log to know which clients you needed to review. Or if you simply needed to know every client the employee has touched in a certain timeframe.
