Practice Manager - Set which fields are mandatory on client profile
It would be great to be able to customise if the fields are mandatory or not for new client setups. This would allow us to ensure that the fields we need setup are being setup by the admin team.

Client - Email storage (not related to Job)
It would be nice to be able to store all emails re a client that a NOT job specific under a Client Tab.
We are able to do for Jobs which is neat but to enable us to store general emails under the client would be good. I guess they would need a unique email address just like the job storage of emails? We have tab for Jobs, Documents etc so one for emails with an address would be nice.2 votes -
XPM invoices - show a total for the calculated (WIP) column
In XPM, there is a subtotal of all the amounts of each task in the fixed price column. It would be handy to show a subtotal of all amounts for each task in the calculated column. This would allow you to see, at a glance, the write up/down for the invoice.

Practice Manager | Clients - Multiple 'Primary' contacts
Only one contact in XPM can be a 'Primary' contact so our correspondence pulls through only the salutation for that contact, however the entity may be a partnership, trust or company and need more than one person included. This means we need to manually add any other salutations, which is not ideal and leaves room for error. The option to add multiple 'Primary' contacts would solve this issue.

Practice Manager: JOB COSTS & MILESTONES - option to add or remove when copying a job
Currently when copying a job then the costs and milestones are automatically copied as well. It would be great to be given the option to copy these or not. Most of the time we do not want to copy these specifically the costs

Practice Manager - click phone number to trigger an application to make phone call
We are wondering if you could add a script at the phone number field in XPM so that when we click on client's phone numbers, the website will trigger an application (such as Microsoft Teams) to make phone call. This will save us time having to copy and paste phone number onto the application.

Practice Manager: Ability to enter time in calendar view
Time Sheet Calendar.
One of the best features of APS is the ability to enter time in a calendar view. You can specify the time units ie 6min, 10 min etc and it presents a week on view for you to add time aka MS Outlook Calendar.7 votes -
XPM - Option to add prospect relationships
Need to have the ability to add prospect relationships - currently if both spouses are added as prospects, you can't then link them as spouses in the relationships section. However, if one spouse is already a client then you can link the prospect as a relationship... this seems like an oversight in the platform. Need to be able to link prospects as spouses/family etc.

Practice Manager - Edit saved filters
Edit Jobs Screen Filters: In the XPM jobs screen it is possible to created and save filters. However it is not currently possible to edit those filters, only clear them and start again. Please provide the functionality to edit existing filters. Thanks in advance, Petra.

XPM: Import relationships info into Financial Statements
Can the Directors, Shareholders and Shares held, beneficiaries, Trustees etc in XPM be available to import into the Financial Statements template so it can stop you having to create custom fields with this information to report on?

XPM - Report that shows clients and their income/turnover
We are in the process of organizing our client list for Audit Shield and like many other accounting firms we need to assign our clients a Turnover category. Currently Xero informs me there is no report I can run that will list the clients and their turnover for me to easily identify which category to assign to the client for audit purposes.
A report that shows the client, their income/turnover and the possibility to group and total buy the Client Group would be amazing and save so much unnecessary admin time.

Xero Sign - have the ability to see if a client has viewed the signing pack
It would be excellent to be able to see if a client has viewed the Xero Sign email pack.

XPM: Dedicated client notes section
For Practise Accounts
have one section for internal notes on the client that can be updated
- Files can be attached but not updated
- Notes in a Report Text Box are only specific to that report

XPM - Timesheet Credit Option for Team Members
Would be great for team members to be able to enter timesheet credits for flexitime hours over their standard daily hours, without having to enable the Financial privileges option in Staff settings (as this then provides visibility to all timesheets, ability to lock/unlock timesheets, ability to enter time for other team members, along with various practice financial report features etc).

XPM: Move invoices from one job to another
I have two situations where the billing in the financial part of the system was being charged by staff rate instead of by task rate. I am not sure why this occurred - possibly human error. So I created new jobs and tried to move the paid progress invoices to the new jobs but it isn't possible. Is there any way that we can move invoices in XPM from one job to another?

Practice Manager | Xero integration - Exclude nil jobs
Currently there is no option to remove nil job totals through Xero invoice integration settings.
You can remove nil tasks/costs if opting for the alternate invoice presentation method (tasks/costs), but not for when you opt for the job totals basis. This would solve multi job invoices and the clean-up required where writing off amounts to nil across jobs.
