Purpose: It’s easier to just create a recurring job from an existing job, rather than creating a new job.

Being open while appreciate the ease this would create for individual users, building customisation at this level would be quite complex. Not something we have plans for at present but we'll get a sense of the interest here. 🙂

Practice Manager | Link custom fields in Jobs & Clients
In Xero Practice Manager - The Custom fields that can appear on the Client and Job are not common data. Eg. When you update a custom field on the Job the information does not flow through to the Client page where this is also displayed. This would be very helpful for a workflow to update in both places.

Practice Manager | Client - Auto archive prospect if lead is 'lost'
If a lead has been lost, can that automatically remove the 'prospects' in XPM, or do I have to go and archive them individually?

Practice Manager - Option to exclude 'completed' from job list
Removal of 'completed' jobs from the job list when preparing an invoice in XPM.
Sometimes we invoice a parent client with multiple entities jobs appearing and this can be very hard to navigate when looking for current jobs to invoice - even if the status is marked to be invoiced. It would be more efficient if completed jobs just didn't appear in the list.

Practice Manager | Invoicing - Sync Location and Staff Tracking to Xero
Have the ability for each user to assign their location and name against invoices in XPM to automatically track across to Xero Blue.
Currently has per job / task the function to track this but it only allows 1 selection for each.
The staff have been creating invoices in XPM then have to go into Xero blue to assign the location and staff.

Currently only have a shortcut for search (forward slash) in XPM, would like more shortcuts (like there are in Blue Xero) - eg:

Xero Practice Manager NZ: Update client relationship report to include [client relationship] tax number and DOB please
Now that the Trust requirements have changed, is it possible to update the Client Relationships report. Accountants now have to provide the DOB and IRD numbers for the Trustees, Settlors and Beneficiaries. Currently, if I add the [client] tax number field and the [client] Date of Birth field, I get these fields for the original trust only, I need to get the [client relationship] tax number and DOB please.

1 voteHi Debbie, the 'waiting approval' report only contains unapproved letters. And the field you've references would only contain payments 'since approval' so even if included, would always be 0.00.
Could you share a little detail of any underlying pain point you're looking for this idea to help you solve? It'd help in sharing back with the team and considering how this could be tackled. Thanks!

NZ Tax - Add Deemed Settlor and Power of Attorney relationships
With the change in the NZ tax legislation it would be great if we could have a "deemed settlor" as a relationship which can be different to the settlor as recorded in the trust deed
Also would there be any way to include a relationship for the power of attorney - a number of clients have these and it is handy to be able to actually set them as a relationship instead of just as a contact

XPM - Separate set of state for different jobs
Improving XPM Workflow Capabilites with Seperate & Specific Job States & Automation Triggers
Seperate set of state for different job templates/workflows. XPM currently only has one set of job states. there should be the ability to have multiple for different jobs. These states should also be able to be transferred into a kanban board view and when the job state is changed either by drag & drop or dropdown certain automated actions should be triggered such as automated emails or deploying client or internal forms to be completed etc. At the moment the XPM's workflow capabiliteis are extremely limited.

XPM - Able to enter leave by selecting a start and end date
In Xero Practice Manager's dashboard be able to enter leave by selecting a start and end date. So we do not have to enter each day one at a time, especially when you have long service leave to enter! This is extremely time consuming and irksome.

XPM - Ability to change to-do list
Many of the to-do items under tasks aren't useful or applicable to us. We would love the ability to add meaningful to-do items to our tasks as a default, not on a job by job basis.
