XPM mobile app - Time tracker
Please can you design an app for XPM to record time on the go. It was such a wonderful feature when integrated with workflow max and would help so much when visiting clients on the go.

Practice Manager | New Client - Option to add Staff
We work in small teams and it would be great if we could get a "Staff" drop down added for the client set up. So we could know the partner on the account, the lead accountant/manager and the staff member that works on the file so we know who to approach for various issues :)

XPM | Reports - Ability to add a hyperlink inside notes
When using other supporting documents—let's say bank statements—it would be great to add a hyperlink to the notes or text block section so you can just click and see the support document.

XPM - Allow Practice Staff to Edit Contacts, Groups, and Relationships without Full Edit Access
Have a separation of Client Edit privileges to allow practice staff to edit Contacts, Groups, and Relationships without having full edit access (e.g. will not be able to edit client address, email address, Agent, etc)

US 1099 - Identify Checks and Debit Card activity on bank accounts
Debit card transactions are not needed to be reported on 1099s. When using bank feeds in checking accounts it does not distinguish debit card vs check. I suggest there be a option to identify debit card vs checks so the debit card activity is not automatically added the the 1099 reporting.

XPM - Link tasks in XPM and item codes in Xero
It would be great to have tasks within jobs (XPM) link to Xero Blue's item codes so that when importing bulk invoices, they can be allocated to a specific task/item code. This will allow for easy reporting both in XPM/Xero Blue.
Otherwise, it would be great to have an option to allocate a task to invoices in Xero Blue that links back to the relevant task in XPM, similarly to the way the Reference field works for jobs.

I would like to do a bulk creation of the Job and also then bulk creation of Tasks and Estimated Time, and to allocate to Staff on the Job. Or an easy entry area to update the Job Task Estimated time so you don't have to enter into each job individually to enter this data.15 votes -
XPM - Invoice Pay Now function
Invoices issued from XPM need to have the ability to have payment services so that clients can click on a Pay Now button and pay the invoice immediately in order to:
- improve cashflow by collecting monies as soon as possible
- remove the need to push invoices into blue xero to gain access to Pay Now functionality
- remove double handling of invoices that practice staff originate in XPM and then operations staff have to issue from blue Xero. Practice staff should be able to manage practice invoices without having to involve operations staff.9 votes -
XPM | ATO Online Services - Automated scheduling of Income Tax Client Report
We leverage the Income Tax Client Report within XPM, and report on lodgements leveraging this data. It would be great if there was the ability to schedule the Tax Agent Request to the ATO for refreshed data - e.g. once per week, so that the reporting we have is automatically refreshed periodically and this doesn't rely on a person refreshing the data manually.

XPM - Add Pause button
When using the start button in the timesheets in XPM to track time on a job, the option for a pause button to pause your time, then to unpause and keep recording your time.
156 votesHi everyone, we appreciate the continued interest in the timer in Practice Manager. As mentioned in my last update, work for a Pause option would require a lot of work, and it's not something we have plans for right now.
However, we understand this is important to our customers and when our team have more capacity we'll explore how we might develop solution for this.
We will keep let you know if there is any progression to share here.

Beneficiary Accounts Report
Can we have a stand alone report for Beneficiary Accounts, which could then be a favorite report rather than having to dig it out of the reporting bundle.

XPM - Be able to look up client based on their client code
The ability to look up client by entering their client code. Currently we have to go to groups and find the client belonging to the group. Our admin system is based on client codes and it would make it easier having the client code look up option.

XPM - Prioritise Job List
In the job list screen, it would be great if you could either customise the "priority" so that jobs appear in the order that you need to complete them or if you could simply move them to the order that you would like to complete them in.

User permissions - Restrict view for users
People who enter invoices and bills but can't access banks should be able to have permission to see AR and AP reports even if they are not permitted to see other reports

XPM/Xero Tax - Show Refund/Payable amount in client view/tax return
It would be great to see the tax refund/payable next to the tax return in the client view, tax returns tab, saves opening up the tax form. Would also be good to see the assigned staff member in the jobs tab in client view, saves clicking into job.

XPM - Merge clients
It would be helpful to merge clients in XPM where two accounts have been created (different names) and tax returns filed under each one. For example a client entered under their maiden name and married name who have filed tax returns. In our case a duplicate was accidently created when doing the return and we have no way to now shift the tax return to the correct and active client account in XPM.

Practice Manager | Ability to customize the Dashboard
There could be many possible things to be able to track in there, but I would like to be able to:
Limit the 'states' shown to things I am directly involved with like 'For review' and 'For Invoicing'.
My secretary would want to see states that apply to her like 'to sign'.
Only show 'Priority level' High and Urgent (with the flick of a keystroke)
Possibly allow some of the functionality in the 'jobs' tab or the report builder to be 'saved' in the dashboard screen like mini tables that update real time?

Direct signup link
Some sort of link for each partner so we can have clients sign up with us directly from our website. Alot of my clients sign up for all my services from a link on a website. This would be very beneficial in my opinion. See this one for example with zoho books.
