Hubdoc - Email-to-Bill Rules
Allow for rules to be placed on what to do when data is missing or unable to be grabbed. Ideally for these to be linked by which supplier the order is from or even setting global rules
Specific Ideas:
-Setting a default Global Due by date when missing
-Setting a specific stock line(s) to apply stock to by supplier

Xero Tax (NZ) - Include Gross Taxable Income
To be able to run report which will show the Gross Taxable Income for taxpayers across the practice.
That is, similarly to how can print report for all clients in the practice which shows the current filing status and date tax return was filed, be able to print a report for all clients in the practice which shows their Gross Taxable Income for the year.
This functionality will be helpful especially for eg checking if a Client is entitled to the Cost of Living Payment.3 votes -

Xero Tax (UK) | Add 'Other' category for PPE
It would be great if there was an 'Other' category tagging option under PPE.
We have PPE in our ledgers that doesn't sit under any of the options currently available.

Hubdoc - Drag & drop details from scanned document
We currently can drag and drop details in the bank rec screen to populate fields. As the OCR in Hubdoc is not so polished yet, if we can have a similar drag and drop feature would be immense in using Hubdoc to process transactions as this would cut down on the data entry.

Xero BAS - Finalise BAS in a Xero file connected to the ATO, without submitting to the ATO
Problem: Xero connected to the ATO for activity statements. Client prepares monthly IAS (PAYGW only), Adviser prepares quarterly BAS (GST and one month's PAYGW). Adviser has to disconnect from ATO to finalise BAS in Xero and import into Xero Tax (to be able to send to the client for electronic signing and then making lodgement to the ATO).
Solution: make it possible to finalise the AS in Blue Xero without disconnecting from the ATO, allowing Client to continue submitting IAS to ATO from within Xero and Adviser to import into Xero Tax to send for e-signing and lodgement.

Hubdoc - Document Merge
Ability to merge documents in Hubdoc.
Purpose: To easily combine separated pages of a document into one.
172 votesThanks for your input here, everyone. Our team is currently looking into adding a document merge feature into their roadmap. However, no dates are planned for when this will be implemented.
That said, we’ll move the status of the idea into ‘Under review’, so please continue to add your vote and give us your comment on how this feature can improve your workflow.
For now, you can merge your documents outside Hubdoc, then upload/email it into Hubdoc. Feel free to also share some options here on how you merge the documents before you put it into Hubdoc.

AU Tax - Tax Return details shown at summary level
To have a column in the return screen that shows the detail of the tax return (e.g. estimated tax payable / refundable and / or the Taxable Income amount).
Purpose: To make the accountant easily review the tax summary returned.
