  1. We need the ability to add multiple email addresses for a client. Not extra Contacts, but the main email address for a client. Currently you can only enter one email address, this is the address that tax payment letters (for example) are automatically sent to. However, some clients want these to go to more than one address. We have to keep a separate spread sheet and our Tax administrator needs to manually send tax payment letters to those clients.
    Something similar to Xero Blue, where you can add an extra email address for invoices and statements to be sent to,…

    Thanks for your involvement and sharing your interest in adding multiple email addresses for a client in Practice Manager with us here.

    This idea has been reviewed by our product team however with other priorities right now we don't have immediate plans for developing this capability. If there's any movement or news we'll definitely share with you all, here.

  2. Ability to have future tax forms generated for multiple entity types and not just individuals. This will enable practitioners to prepare tax returns for entities that have substituted accounting periods much before the due dates without having to request extensions from the tax office also will give us the ability to work out the timing differences on tax profit more accurately rather than relying on spreadsheets etc.

    Hiya team, we understand the importance of being able to get ahead and create future tax forms in Xero. While work for this isn't underway just yet, we have plans to develop Company Tax Returns(CTR) for the future over the next 12 months. We know there are some in the idea here very much interested in Trust Tax Returns(TRT), however these will be further out, after CTR's.

  3. Capital gains tax worksheet - where an capital assets is owned by more than one person say husband and wife 50:50. If the worksheet has been prepared for one taxpayer, have an option to have this copied/ transferred to the other taxpayer similar to rent schedule.

    For property generally there could be just one item but for shares there may be huge number of CGT events.

  4. We would like Hubdoc to convert an uploaded Bank statement into a csv file.
    So as to easily import the data into Xero to reconcile new bank accounts prior to bank feed connection.

    Hello everyone, we want to let you know that we’ve recently released the ability to convert PDF bank statements into pre-formatted CSV files in Xero (Read more on our blog for more information).

    Currently, this feature is only available in the US and Canada. We know this tool will also be valuable to other regions and we'll be sure to update you with any new information about it becoming available globally.

    For now, we’ll move the status of this idea to ‘Under review’. So keep voting and give us your input on how this feature can benefit your workflow!

  5. Client History
    It would be great to have a running record of client history in XPM, showing the date and person who, including but not limited to:
    - created the client
    - edited client details
    - archived client
    In a large firm over multiple offices, it would be easier to know who to contact if there are questions about details are entered into XPM, and keep XPM as a CRM up to date.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate your involvement and sharing the different aspects of activity on clients history that'd be useful, and how this'd help your workflows. While we do believe this to be a valuable feature, that we may look to develop in the future, this isn't something we've been able to prioritise against other work right now.   7. It isn't possible to add a quantity column to a report, nor is it possible to pull through Qty data entered in Xero or create a cell the Qty can be manually typed into.

    You can add a note column but this would be to link to a section of the report pack, not a quantity loaded into Xero or a box we could manually type the quantity into. Further the notes section functionality is unable to be renamed and can only be linked to other reports in the report pack. It does not work to bring through Qty data.

  8. Can we have the ability to search for a transaction , by amount , payee or description across all bank accounts. Rather than having to go into each bank account and sort dates etc and than search. Having the option to choose all bank accounts, rather than an individual bank account would be awesome.

    Hi team, I wanted to share that the recent updates for the Reconcile page have now been released to all users. This includes a search bar at the top of the page and includes filters for date range and amount. This provides the ability to look up criteria of your statement lines and narrow down your search. 

    You'll also find you can now view more statement lines per page, with up to 50 at a time - You'll find more on this and other updates shared on our blog. 

    We appreciate the ask on this idea is a search across all statement lines, across all bank accounts. I want to confirm this is not something we have plans for developing at this stage, and I'll move this idea back to 'submitted' so we can continue to track and update you if there is any progress of this, here. 

  9. Extract not only basic information like dates, names, etc., but also line items for less manual entry or having to find outside apps to do it.

  10. Ability to transfer customised reports between practices or other businesses. Currently this is not possible so if a client changes accounting practices then reports do not follow. This is expensive for the client for reports to be redone and totally unnecessary given that all the formatting necessary already exists on another system.

  12. We require additional report codes, particularly for financials, in the Adviser reports. More codes are needed to group and map Fixed Assets, and it's necessary to further breakdown Plant and Equipment into categories such as Furniture & Fittings and Office Equipment. We spend excessive time modifying report layouts to achieve this, and automation would be more efficient. Additional user-defined fields that are compatible with our practice would also be advantageous.

    Thanks for your input here, everyone. Our team is currently looking into adding a document merge feature into their roadmap. However, no dates are planned for when this will be implemented. 


    That said, we’ll move the status of the idea into ‘Under review’, so please continue to add your vote and give us your comment on how this feature can improve your workflow. 


    For now, you can merge your documents outside Hubdoc, then upload/email it into Hubdoc. Feel free to also share some options here on how you merge the documents before you put it into Hubdoc.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the continued interest in the timer in Practice Manager. As mentioned in my last update, work for a Pause option would require a lot of work, and it's not something we have plans for right now.

    However, we understand this is important to our customers and when our team have more capacity we'll explore how we might develop solution for this.

    We will keep let you know if there is any progression to share here.

  16. Just a simple one!

    Next to the date of birth in Xero PM, could you do a little thingy so the age calculates and shows there?
    I've done my best Canva work in the attached to explain better!
    And chose my most favourite clients as an example :)

  17. I would love to see an improvement with Xero XPM NOTES.

    We seem to leave 2 types of notes.

    TYPE 1: is URGENT, we want people within the firm to see it and read it. It would be good if you could select this note to be a banner across the top of the clients screen. Similar to how if the client has a debt it shows at the top. (love that function)

    TYPE 2: is just an ordinary note that is sufficient with the current design.

    It would also be great if you could share notes across multiple clients…

  19. Losses carried forward have to be manually entered each year. It would be great if the information flowed through automatically from the prior year tax return. This will help to reduce risks that someone may accidently omit or incorrectly enter losses.

    Thanks for sharing through the idea here, everyone. While we do roll over the losses schedules from prior year into the new year as a losses worksheet for non individual tax returns, we understand there may be more areas which we can roll this over.

    It'd be of great help and appreciation from our product team if you could share more detail of the losses you're referring to and the specific tax return you'd like to see this developed for. Thanks!
