XPM - Add multiple email addresses for client
We need the ability to add multiple email addresses for a client. Not extra Contacts, but the main email address for a client. Currently you can only enter one email address, this is the address that tax payment letters (for example) are automatically sent to. However, some clients want these to go to more than one address. We have to keep a separate spread sheet and our Tax administrator needs to manually send tax payment letters to those clients.
Something similar to Xero Blue, where you can add an extra email address for invoices and statements to be sent to, and you can tick a box to say who should get what. That would be perfect for XPM too.

Would save a lot of time and improve efficiency! We should be able to send tax payment letters to multiple people instead of having to leave this field blank to check upon sending or having a separate spreadsheet.

We need this feature as we are getting duplicate contacts when orders from Woo Commerce are made. Due to the different email addresses. Ideally we can have multiple emails addresses per contact so this duplication does not occur.

I totally agree and can't understand why this would not already be an option?! The work around to include a custom field is certainly not ideal.
Having recently converted from Handisoft to Xero XPM, it was a much more flexible system as there were any number of emails and/or phone numbers available to be included in the database.
There was also the option to select the preferred email and nominate it as the default which was very helpful too.This needs to be a high priority for Xero!

This is a must have, multiple email fields. So many clients have more than one email address for various reasons.

XPM - Multiple emails separated by ; in the primary contact's email field to be enabled.
Many firms use ATOmate to handle ATO correspondence and some clients prefer correspondence to be forwarded to multiple email addresses. Only Xero has disabled this and other software providers allow for this. If multiple email addresses can be reported under primary contact or Xero changes the interface with ATOmate to allow all email addresses (all contacts) to come down to ATOmate this will be resolved.

Yes I agree with Megan's comments below. We have clients that want their tax letters and tax returns to go to one email address, their general correspondence to another and their invoicing a separate one, so a drop down option would be a great help rather than changing it for each.

Yes would be good - if Xero listened & cared that is....but they don't give a toss and have zero interest in listening. They may as well change their name to "MYOB" because they have become just as bad (which is why we switched from MYOB to Xero in the first place !

We often have clients with bookkeepers and other individuals involved in the business that need to see BAS or such information but not the personal tax details, a drop down pick list would be perfect

There are many occasions where the main email address in the system is not appropriate for not only tax payment letters but it would be a real benefit to be able to choose from a pick list for income tax returns as well. These quite often go to an alternative email address, and it is cumbersome keeping a list for this purpose.
