  1. I have 100 clients (mainly 1040) and they are not in XERO. I would like to import them so that I can utilize XERO ASK feature to obtain documents / answers for Tax Prep at year end.

  2. Hubdoc's integration with Xero can be great when it enables automatic reconciliation of an invoice with accounts in Xero. However, if any portion of an invoice is allocated to an account in Xero that has a 0% tax rate, Publishing to Xero fails with the error message "Validation Err. Line item tax amounts do not total to document tax amount".

    An example of where this occurs is where 50% of a transaction is deemed a business expense, while 50% of the transaction has a private use component, where the private use component is treated as personal drawings, e.g., the business…

  3. Keyboard shortcuts in Xero Practice Manager

    Currently only have a shortcut for search (forward slash) in XPM, would like more shortcuts (like there are in Blue Xero) - eg:
    Dashboard / Clients / Jobs / Tax / Business / Reports tabs.

    Hi Debbie, the 'waiting approval' report only contains unapproved letters. And the field you've references would only contain payments 'since approval' so even if included, would always be 0.00.

    Could you share a little detail of any underlying pain point you're looking for this idea to help you solve? It'd help in sharing back with the team and considering how this could be tackled. Thanks!

    Purpose: Because it is easier to type the date instead of the date picker.

  7. Improving XPM Workflow Capabilites with Seperate & Specific Job States & Automation Triggers

    Seperate set of state for different job templates/workflows. XPM currently only has one set of job states. there should be the ability to have multiple for different jobs. These states should also be able to be transferred into a kanban board view and when the job state is changed either by drag & drop or dropdown certain automated actions should be triggered such as automated emails or deploying client or internal forms to be completed etc. At the moment the XPM's workflow capabiliteis are extremely limited.

  8. Document Packs - User permissions

    The ability to lock down who can prepare doc packs vs who can send them. ie. We want admin to prepare but Director to send. Suggest view / prepare / send.

  9. In Xero Practice Manager's dashboard be able to enter leave by selecting a start and end date. So we do not have to enter each day one at a time, especially when you have long service leave to enter! This is extremely time consuming and irksome.

  10. Many of the to-do items under tasks aren't useful or applicable to us. We would love the ability to add meaningful to-do items to our tasks as a default, not on a job by job basis.

  13. To make it easier to create jobs in XPM it would be useful to have a link to create a new job once you have unsuccessfully searched to see if there is a job already set up for the client. At present you have to log out of job search then create a new job, which involves finding the client name again.

  14. Xero sign/Adobe sign

    Esigning and the portal is excellent and very useful.

    I get worried unlike when you use Adobe DC directly, Xero Sign does not give trails of who signed back to you.

    Whilst probably not too likely things were not signedd correctly, I think we need more robust authentication with the IP address and the email address that was used to login being recorded into a report.

    The drill down to confirm the transaction is not very helpful and I cannot work out in the secured pdf where to easily see thse things.

    Most other providers have better…

  16. Suggestion to have the ability to enter 'Ad Hoc' time in the same place you enter time for jobs - i.e. in the Timesheets screen, rather than going through the 'Global Search' screen.

    You would select a client first, then select Ad Hoc Time or a job (if an active one exists).

    Also, when selecting a client, it would also be handy to be able to start typing a few letters from anywhere within the client name, rather than having to type the first letter or scroll down using the picklist.

  17. Xero should be able to offer billing in other currencies as currently they are unable to bill Xero Practice Manager in SGD.

    I was advised by Xero support, that this is because they are part of their Global billing in Practice Manager, so it will automatically be billed in USD.

    However, their Xero Accounting invoices are billed in Singapore Dollars, so not too sure why similar principles don't apply?

  18. Users can scan their invoices via mobile app when they don’t have an internet connection.

    Purpose: To make sure that the invoices/documents didn’t get lost in the Hubdoc app when the internet connection is intermittent.

  19. It would very helpful to show the "Amount due" and WIP balances on both of the CLIENT and GROUP listing screens.
    At the moment these screens shows the telephone number and address which does not help at all. At the very least give us the ability to customize
    these columns so that we can "choose" what to see
