Hi everyone, we appreciate your feedback on new Workpapers through the forums here. Our product teams are continuing to closely review the ideas our community bring to us and consider these closely as they plan their roadmap.

Hi everyone, thanks for continuing to share your feedback on this idea.
We understand that being able to see all queries at a glance within the In Progress tab would make it much easier to manage work without the extra clicks. The good news is that improvements are part of the planning for our new Workpapers solution in partnership with BGL 💃.
We’re continuing to roll out new Workpapers in phases, and we’ll be sure to share more updates here as we have them.

Thanks to everyone who's shared feedback here. Over time, the conversation has broadened from the original request: the ability to create custom-designed workpapers, similar to Classic Workpapers, with tailored calculation rows, sections and mapped account codes.
This is something we're actively exploring and will share another update soon. We’ll use this idea to track that broader customisation capability.
Requests for specific worksheets are best tracked separately:
- Inter-entity loan workpapers
- Division 7A loans
- Motor vehicle private use and FBT
- Franking credits - add payment dates
- Investment income
- Profit appropriation/distribution
Tracking these separately helps us understand interest, needs and use cases. Please make sure to add your vote to these if of interest, or start a new idea for a new one.

Thanks for raising this idea, Julie. We can understand how automating reminder emails for Workpapers queries could help streamline communication with clients and reduce the need for manual follow-up.
We've updated the status to Gaining Support and will continue to monitor interest from the community.

Thanks so much for sharing your idea about being able to schedule payslips to be emailed automatically to employees — love that you’re thinking about ways to save time and streamline payday!
We’ve now reviewed your idea, and from here it’s over to the wider Xero community to get behind it and show their support.
As well as adding votes, other members can now comment to share more detail on how scheduled payslip emails could improve their experience with Xero.

Hi community, your ongoing interest in giving users the ability to reconcile without viewing account balances is welcomed.
We understand why this level of bank permission control matters. As recently mentioned in my updates on this idea, while we do have current work for user roles underway there is more complexities to developing permissions within the banking space and this isn't on the immediate roadmap.
As we continue our journey to evolving roles within Xero we'll be sure to share any progress for permissions in bank accounts with you all, here.

We have a number of clients who would like their staff to be able to enter receipts - either via the app or full Xero - in spend money transactions BUT they don't want the staff to see their bank account. The current user access parameters doesn't allow this. These clients are on cashbook and starter plans, so can't do as enter bill

I would like to see this happen - as it would streamline the process, and less margin for error, and a big time saver
Deferring emailing of payslips.
We pay fishermen on an adhoc basis, we normally prepare their crew share a few days prior to our fishermen client getting paid for this fish. We don't pay the crew until the client has been paid. It would be good if we could defer emailing of the payslip until the date of payment. this would be a nice function. at the moment, we have to remember to go back into the payrun on the day of payment which just adds time.
