Hi John, thanks for bringing this idea to us. We appreciate the explanation of how beneficial ownership submissions fit into your business approach. However, this suggestion and it's now marked as Not in pipeline, which means it isn't on the foreseeable roadmap at this time. We'll keep this idea open for votes so we can continue to gauge community interest. Thanks again for contributing to the conversation 🙏.

Hi everyone, apologies for the gap since our last update.
We appreciate your ongoing feedback and additional detail that’s been shared in this thread.
A dedicated units-of-measure field for line items isn't something we've committed to building as a standalone feature, though it's one we're actively considering as part of a wider look at extending invoice documents to better serve our customers.
For now, connected apps in the Xero App Store remain an immediate option to meet needs expressed. We'll post an update here as this broader work develops.

Be able to get proper waybills based on item weight x quantity. Possibly look at cartons x weight per carton as another option. The Packing slip only takes the basics but shipping companies need more detail.

Have clients who want to match invoice totals to waybill totals so need this asap.
