Hi team, we appreciate the on-going support and feedback we're receiving on this idea and pleased to be able to share this update. Our product team are actively exploring how we can best solve for the needs raised here, although at this time are unable to provide any set timeframes.
They are very much aware of the appetite from our community on this, and as part of their exploration have reached out some users here as they gather insights.
For the time being we'll shift to In discovery and I'll return as soon as there is more on this to share.

Thank you for your input Denym. My thoughts are, whilst this is a work around, why would we pay $19 per month on top of the Xero subscription fee?
To be able to send emails from our own company address in Xero should be a standard feature and hopefully will be if we keep the pressure on.
For the time being, I will continue to email the documents to my company email and then on to my customer/supplier etc. from there. An error occurred while saving the comment

Unfortunately and for some reason only known to the Xero development team the email sender address is still not appearing as coming from my user account name??
The only solution for me is to NEVER trust the email option on Xero. I either email doc to my own company email account and forward on or download the doc to desktop and email from my company email account to guarantee communications aren't lost.An error occurred while saving the comment

Please can this problem by prioritised as URGENT.
It is causing us to look very unprofessional when our emails appear to be coming from the wrong sender name and a name unrelated to our company??
This really should not be happening in 2022
Your quick action to correct this would be most appreciated.

I just can't help thinking, if a small third party company can intergrate the email address solution so easily and simply (but at a cost of course) why can't Xero do it? Hello Xero!! Wake up.
