Hey everyone, back again with some progress to share with you all here. Our product team have made good headway in this space over the past few months and we'll soon be at a stage where we'd like to invite users in for an early release!

We're aiming to roll out a "Pay" button to statements later this year, so that your customers can then pay multiple outstanding invoices in one go.
If you'd be interested in being a part of our early release, please fill out this form.✍️

We have customer accounts where a credit has been passed and therefore the outstanding balance is lower than the last invoice value.
The majority of our customers pay against statement as they have credit accounts and so I believe this feature would remove some friction in the payment process and increase collections.
I completely agree with the other recent comments, it does not make sense for Xero to rather focus on what they believe their customers want rather that what their customers are telling them they actually want.
Improving collections by reducing the friction for customers to pay and therefore improving cash flow is probably the top priority for every Xero user.
