Thanks for your feedback and interest in the idea here. We appreciate the desire for being able to enable employees to make these changes themselves.
While this is something the team will continually review as they keep developing Payroll for Australia, we want to be open that this is not in the direct plans atm.
If there are any changes or progress for developing this we'll be sure to come back and update you on this, here.

I need to be able to set a number of pays for recurring payroll deductions.
For example; my employee buys a laptop under salary sacrifice and wants to pay it back over a specified number of pay cycles.
At the moment I need to track this manually to ensure that the deduction is removed at the right time. It would be great if the software could do this for me.Taryn Port

Appreciate your input here, everyone. This is a feature that our team have looked into and would like to develop for AU Payroll, however there are a few other key pieces of work lined up before they get a chance to explore this further.

For businesses using monthly payroll Xero is auto generating strange hours for leave days, sometimes this is 7.1429 hours. The staff work 7.5 hour days.
Please add a field where we can enter the correct default work hours rather than making us edit every single leave application to adjust to the correct hours.
