Hi everyone, thanks for getting behind this idea and sharing the need for employees to add multiple earnings rates to Start and End timesheets.
Your examples demonstrate how different earnings rates in a single timesheet would save time and improve payroll accuracy for industries with varied awards.
We understand many of you are currently editing timesheets after employees submit them, which adds extra steps.
The good news is that idea is now in discovery. Our product team is currently reviewing the viability of this idea and exploring what a solution could look like.
We will post an update here as soon as we have more news.

Hi everyone, thank you for your detailed feedback on a clock in/out functionality in Xero Me. We see how being able to clock in and out directly from Xero Me would improve accuracy for job tracking, while enabling employees to easily log start/finish times and capture breaks at the touch of a button.
As part of a wider project to improve timesheets in Xero, we’ve updated the status of this idea to Accepted.
While this status means the product team would like to develop this, it’s not currently on our roadmap and we don’t have a delivery timeframe. We will continue to consider your feedback as we plan future updates. Thanks for your patience and ongoing engagement.

The new start and end times for Xero Me are fantastic, it's exactly what I've been needing to convince clients to start using the app in favour of their old xcell spreadsheets to track hours.
My request is this: can you implement a method of entering the start and end time of a shift independently? As the app stands currently, it seems like an employee needs to enter their start and end times simultaneously, meaning employees have to keep record of when they start each shift.
It would be great if there was a way for employees to 'clock in' using the app at the start of the day and then 'clock out' at the end of their shift - similar to the system used by the Deputy app, which I can say from first hand experience is incredibly helpful in ensuring that employees record their time accurately.
