Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about the ‘Other Previous Earnings’ line on payslips. We understand that grouping previous earnings can make it difficult to see and explain individual year-to-date earnings elements.
At this stage, we don’t have any plans to de-group Previous Earnings YTD on payslips. If you’d like to view a detailed breakdown of each employee’s year-to-date earnings elements, you can run the Payroll Activity Summary report.
We know this is not the update you were expecting, but we’ll update you here if our priorities change.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing how important streamlining P45 distribution is for your payroll workflow.
It’s not currently possible to send P45’s directly from Xero. Our product team is actively exploring ways to enhance employee self-service features. While specific plans for this feature are not yet finalised for the immediate roadmap, this area remains a key focus for future development. We've moved this idea to Accepted.
We'll keep you posted if anything changes. In the meantime, you can download P45s from Xero and send them via your usual email software.

Hi everyone, thank you for sharing your feedback on the Employee Contact Details report.
In 2024, this report was updated to include date of birth and age. We’ve noted the suggestions to include start and end dates as well.
Adding further details to this report is not on our current roadmap. As a result, we are moving this request to 'Not in Pipeline.'
We appreciate your continued ideas and feedback, and we will let you know if our priorities change.

Hey team 😊 happy to come back to share that this work is now underway with our product team as they begin development for managing files within Xero Payroll.
We really value the feedback we've received from you all in this idea, which has helped inform our teams approach to developing a solution that will fit majority of needs.
I'll return to share as we get nearer to release with more information on what this looks like including where and how you'll be able to attach files in Payroll.

Over a year and half, Xero still does not do anything with emailing P45s. I don't understand why Xero does not do it while other software has this function. Come on Xero.
