Hi everyone, a quick update on multi-authorisation for Payday Super.

We recognise that multi-authorisation is a priority for many of you, particularly as Payday Super approaches and businesses review how they manage super payments in Xero.

Our Product team is actively working on an enhanced workflow for this, which is on track for release next quarter.

We’ll share more updates as soon as we have more to confirm.

Agree, in addition to Rosalie's comments:
    - having a permission which only allowed access to viewing time sheets for other team members and no other areas would be good, so that control is limited to time sheet access and not other financial privileges; and
    - it would be useful if you could assign a partner/manager access to specific staff members' time sheets so that they could see their team's time sheets, but not everyone else's.

Thanks for sharing this idea on coding leave to an expense account other than the employee's ordinary earnings rate. It’s been a little while since this idea was raised, we can see it's been steadily gaining support.

To help your idea gain traction, please share it with colleagues so they can vote for it too. The comment section is also open for all members to share how this feature would improve their Xero experience

Agree, painful to manually journal the split every pay run.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback on the needs for leave approvers to view upcoming leave for their team. We appreciate you highlighting how important it is to have better oversight of team leave without needing full payroll access.

Our product team is looking into how this idea may fit into a wider review of team management in AU payroll. This is in the early stages of review so not currently on the team’s roadmap, but we'll keep you updated as we learn more.

Leave approvers should be able to see leave for their entire team, not just the individuals they have approved the leave for. If the leave request was approved by someone other than the nominated person, the leave should appear in both the approver's 'approved leave' list and the nominated person's 'approved leave' list, so they're both aware of that individual's upcoming leave. This is especially useful for staff with more than one manager and staff working across different teams.
