I have a client who is asking about this feature also as they have recently begun a company that has two directors and would like the ability for both directors to be able to view and approve bills and invoices for payment that are entered/prepared by me, their bookkeeper.

If you can log in and save a bill to draft from a Xero link, how come you can't do the same for a credit note? I have several credit notes to enter from another Xero file, all up to 10 lines on each invoice and I have to manually enter them, not import them straight from the link.
It is frustrating that credit notes don't seem to work as seamlessly as bills do.

It would be appreciated to have this implemented as soon as possible please. I have already nearly overcharged someone because a credit note could not be added and I am not the only one who does the invoicing.

It is great that the option to apply a bill or spend money to a customer, however should you receive a credit note from a supplier for that same contact/customer, you can't add that credit note to a contact, only a project. It seems strange to me that if you can add an expense to a contact/customer, you should also be able to add a credit note.

    Hi Liz and Laura,

My main issue is that I use timesheets to enter the employees' hours and allocate those hours to a particular job so it can be billed out, however if the wrong job is entered for whatever reason, timesheets does not come up as a condition against type and if you use the wages code, it won't bring up any transaction entered through payroll. I guess ultimately, it would be great if payroll transactions could be included in the type of transactions you can find & recode. At this point, I am doing a timesheet report on the hours allocated to that job and calculating the amount by the employees' rate(s) and doing a manual journal. It is just very time consuming if an error occurs.

Thanks for your input and open to any other suggestions.
    Linda
