Yeah, I'm tired of waiting. I'm pretty sure it's been at least 5 years since I put in this request and I certainly wasn't the first.

Has anybody else done any research for an alternative?

I've seen this for years. I wonder if they even know this website still exists.

Doing a simple search for "decimal" on this site shows there are several ideas that are all requesting the same or very similar functionality. Perhaps an admin can consolidate these to show the true number of those voting for this?

I'm afraid you may be right. About 5 years ago I tried Xero and had this issue but there was no response so I changed to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. BC is an outstanding system but for too complex for my needs. I returned to Xero because I forgot about this problem. Now, with great frustration I am trying to be patient and see if this gets solved or I'll have to find an alternative. I know QBO goes out to 5 or 6 dp but not a big fan of Intuit.

Many businesses like mine in the U.S. cannot use Xero because of this restriction. We price in basis points 1/100th of a percent which goes to 4 decimal places but then we bill quarterly so dividing by 4 causing the price to go to 6 decimal places. Currently, we have to manually calculate the total or migrate away to QBO if we want to automate the process.

Hi everyone, appreciate there are more regions users would like to see us adopt solutions for and we'll keep you in the know of any progress, here.

In the UK, we have some updates with the bill payments method with Crezco. You now have more control of your cashflows with the ability to schedule bills to be paid at a future date using direct bank transfer. This'll help avoid potential bank charges for same day transactions, and missing due dates. Along with this you'll also be able to stay up to date with your payments with real-time payment status in Xero. Meaning you don't have to log into your bank to check the status of each bill payment. With an overview of all payments made using direct bank transfer, you have an accurate record of which suppliers have been paid, and when.

QuickBooks has many advantages over Xero at this point because Xero keeps removing valuable functionality in favor of window dressing. At this point one of the few advantages that Xero has the lack of bloatware that is rampant in QB.

This seems to be the path of Xero now, remove useful efficiency, add virtually useless and trivial features while ignoring years of calls for extending the number of digits from 4 to 6 in invoices, etc.

Oh, did I forget that while they make the software less useful, they increase the cost? I guess not.

Bluevine is already doing this with QBO. I suggested to Bluevine that they consider integrating with Xero. Their response was that they would like to integrate whereever practicable.

I absolutely agree. For those of us that work with several divisions of a company where seperate records need to be maintained for each the CONTACT and INVOICING areas can be a nightmare to work with without this simple fix.

Hi everyone, leading on from my last update we have now released improvements to eInvoicing for those in the UK! With the latest change you'll now find we've made it easier for you to opt-in to receive your Xero subscription bill via eInvoicing. You can now do this from your online invoice (My Bills page) instead of through the Billing contact page. Helping save you time and reduce manual data entry every month.😁
We understand there are other regions that'd still like to see this functionality developed and we'll shift back to submitted and share when there is news of moving this further afield.
We also wanted to address the recent comment of data sharing - We'd like to confirm that Xero do not share data with Peppol.com. We use the Peppol network and the subscription invoices are sent using our wholly owned provider, Tickstar.

Why only for AU, NZ and Singapore? Did your U.S. and other international clients to something that would cause you to exclude us?
