    Hi everyone, thanks for all of your valuable feedback on this idea. The number of detailed comments clearly show how important this feature is for many of you.

    We also agree that this would add significant value to Xero Expenses. That’s why we’re pleased to update the status of this idea to Accepted. This means we have reviewed your feedback and it aligns with our product vision.

    While it is a feature we’d like to build, it’s not currently on our roadmap, so we can't provide a delivery timeframe just yet. We will share another update on this thread as soon as we have more news.

    I am the original Author of this Comment.

    It is frustrating this has not been taken notice of..... To be clear to Xero Support - without the option of putting km's (instead of hours) for a Pay Item:-

    When an employee is being paid Travel by km's as a separate Pay Item - the option of hours does not allow more than 59.99 km's..... We are in a rural town and employees are paid anything up to 130 km's per week or more...

    The solution is to allow a new Rate per Unit of km's - currently it is ONLY Hours..

    I no longer work for the customer that I was trying to help with this (yes, this idea was submitted approximately 2 years ago) - however, I still feel it an important point..

    I have a customer that pays (not reimburses) their employees by no. of km's travelled.
    Is there a way to create a Travel Allowance Pay Option that will enable km's as an option - not Hours?
    The staff submit Timesheets and have to do numerous lines if they travel over 59.59 km's. The customer is regional.

    Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback and votes on adding birthday notifications to Australian payroll - we understand how this could help with team celebrations and managing age-based award rate compliance.

    After reviewing with our product team, this feature isn't currently on our roadmap, and we'll update the status to 'Not in Pipeline'. Right now, setting up an external calendar could help you track these important dates.

    We appreciate you all taking the time to share your feedback with us, and will continue to watch the traction this idea receives through Votes. If there is any change, we will share an update here.

    Can we please set up a way to advise Anniversary Date for Employees. I have come across the problem a couple of times with the Anniversary Date of an Apprenticeship being missed. This has resulted in adjustment of Wages, backpay, etc..
