Heya team, thanks to everyone who shared feedback through the form in our last update. Your contributions have helped us make great headway, and this idea is now moving into development.
We're inviting a limited group of users to test our new Statement list and PDF views. These are important stepping stones towards scheduled statements, and testers will automatically receive early access to scheduling when it becomes available. Register your interest through this form as soon as possible.
If you don't make it into this testing group, don't worry. We'll continue sharing updates here as the work progresses.
This early release gives you greater control over your statements, from customising which columns you see to editing contacts inline and previewing exactly what each customer will receive before you send. Your statements will also now match your invoice branding for a more consistent experience.

Can Xero please seriously look into this? This UI issue (whether it's viewing Aged Receivables, Bank Reconciliation, etc.) has been raised by many users for a long time, yet nothing has been done. It's very frustrating!

Hi team, while not relevant to all areas of Xero atm. As we continue to develop the product you'll find there are many places where teams are beginning to add improvements to behaviours such as Xero remembering your last selection.
For example, in the Products and Services page(Inventory items) if you make a change to the number of items shown, and navigate away from the page when you return this selection is remembered. A couple of exceptions to this is when you change browsers, or if you're using incognito mode or a private browsing page.
We appreciate there are more places across Xero you'd like to see these behaviours and we'll keep you updated of more improvements here.

Tired of keep changing the settings everytime I need to generate reports.
For more than 4 years, this simple task is still not able to be resolved. We need this function as we quite oftenly need to cut off certain date transactions and present it to the customer a better picture of their accounts status! @diggler_dirk it doesn't matter how many customer ask for this. The data within the statement should be able to convert into number in Excel for us to work on the figure, it is so inconvenient without this function! Please fix it ASAP!
