Hi community, we appreciate your on-going support in this idea.
We wanted to confirm that sending invoices via SMS is now available in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US.
Sending invoice reminders via SMS isn't in our current roadmap, however we appreciate wanting consistency in sending methods and we're continuing to keep this in mind as we develop our invoice flows in Xero.
We'll move this idea to Accepted for the time being and be sure to share if there's any developments surrounding this to share with you all here.

We run a small business (franchise) and have access to an sms function where we can hit SEND when in the invoice (on phone app) and it will automatically populate to email the invoice (just like Xero does) but it also allows you to check a box which will send a short sms to the mobile number recorded in the customer file. The sms is along the lines of "Thank you for your business. You can download your BUSINESS NAME invoice #1234 via the link below. https://link.link.link Please contact us on MOBILE NUMBER if you have any questions or are unable to download your invoice". For micro/small businesses a LOT of business is done by phone/sms so this would be an incredible addition to Xero.

I found that this feature IS available (well sort of). When raising the invoice (we use Android app) where you can choose to save, send etc there is also the option to SHARE. Using the SHARE option will give you the choice of sending (spiel and link) via sms, Messenger, email etc - you can also click COPY which will allow you manually sms the spiel/link. I use this all the time now.
