Hi everyone, we wanted to return and give you an update here. As mentioned in our last post - we want to be forth right that we don't have any plans to remove 'Powered by Xero' from emails sent from Xero, with intentional purpose and based on findings from interactions we can see having true benefit to customers in getting paid faster.
That said, we appreciate the feedback we've received and have made changes since this was initially raised to reduce the size of the footer where this is shown and have removed the hyperlink to xero.com. We will continue to develop the invoice email to continue to drive improvements for our customers and the ways you receive payments.

I just had to raise a case with support as there didn't appear to be a way to remove in Xero - support responded with a threat of opting me out of upcoming invoice features - if they are anything like this so-called 'feature' then that's fine. I'm really angry about the fact that they did this, AND that this was their response, particularly because it was drawn to my attention by a customer of mine... Blatant bullying, and they've intentionally designed this to be difficult to remove knowing that many won't bother with it. Disgraceful. What are some of the alternative products other than Quickbooks people are looking into? Seriously considering jumping ship. My company is definitely not 'Powered by Xero'. I don't think anyone in their right mind would want to subscribe to a platform that advertises to customers without their knowledge. This is simply terrible.

We appreciate the interest in more customisation when sending documents from Xero, everyone. Currently in the space of new invoicing we have recently released a new send modal that enables the use of rich text formatting, and allows you to cc and Bcc emails.
Currently this is limited to send of invoices with new invoicing only, however over time we will look at expanding this to other areas of Xero that you can send from. I'll keep you updated of any further enhancements surrounding this, here.

Thanks for your continued engagement with us on this idea, everyone. We understand there are many different ways business work and conduct business with customers, and that you need more flexibility in the way you manage and receive payments for invoices with Xero. While pockets of research have been done in the past we’re getting a fresh lens and conducting a broader piece of discovery to deeply analyse and understand where our efforts could be focused in this space to alleviate existing hurdles in receiving payments for majority of Xero users. We’d like to open the invite to be a part of our teams research pool, where you’d get the chance to share more on the importance of managing payments for your business. This may involve being interviewed, or helping answer questions through short surveys or questionnaires.
✍️ If this is something you’d like to be a part of, please …

I'm extremely dissatisfied with this response. It blatantly disregards what everyone here is asking for, and seems like the vote option has also been greyed out for me, so obviously the so called 'data' Xero relies on can be manipulated by it's own internal teams so it can be skewed to meet their own intentions and isn't based on it's customers. You say this is to build trust? Get real. I'm currently manually downloading PDFs and dumping them into an email template to bypass this issue completely. We work in the marketing and advertising fields often, so branding across everything for us is crucial. This is very annoying and totally the opposite of what your customers actually want. A simple 'hide powered by Xero logo' would be all that's needed to solve this, and you're literally refusing to give us that. As already stated in another comment, there is already a Xero email so customers are already aware it's from your platform anyway.
