Hi Petra, appreciate your suggestion here. We understand that having key client details available while reviewing tax reports can help keep your workflow moving.
The suggestion here is to add client phone and mobile number fields as separate columns in tax reports, so you can quickly access contact details without switching between screens.
For now, you can use the Contacts list alongside your report or export your data if you need to combine client details. While this doesn’t provide the same in-report view, it can help streamline your process.
We’ve updated this idea to Gaining Support so we can continue tracking interest and gather feedback from accountants and tax agents on how this could improve reporting workflows.

Hi Mireille,
Thank you for the detailed feedback regarding the recent XPM updates.
I’ve moved this into Gaining Support. I can definitely see how the removal of those phone number columns has added extra steps to your workflow. While the recent design updates aimed for a cleaner look, "at a glance" information is vital for busy practices.
A quick tip for now: If you need to see phone numbers across your client list without clicking into each one, you can customise your main list view:

I’ve updated the title to "XPM - Suggestion to display contact phone numbers on the Client details screen" to help other practice users who are feeling…

The new version of XPM now only shows contacts' phone numbers (land line) if that field has been completed and not mobile numbers - to view the mobile number we now have to open the contact up to view this. Can you please change this so that the contacts show mobile number instead thanks.

My query is in relation to Client filters in XPM. We use a report that filters clients contact details including their mobile number. However since your recent changes to XPM where you have now provided various phone options for Client but there are no filters for reporting these except for [Client] Phone. Is this something you can make available for reporting purposes, in particular [Client] Mobile as we have various reports that require this option. Why would XPM make a change to include these phone options and then not provide ability to use these filters in reports? I will add it to the long list of issues with the changes that have occurred since you have updated your platform.
