Hi community, we really appreciate your feedback on this and hearing why you'd like to be able to change the organisation's name that's shown when sending invoices from Xero.
This is on our teams radar, and is something they may look into longer term however we want to be open that it's not in the current roadmap.
We'll continue to track and keep across the interest from our community, and if there's any news to share we'll update you on this, here.

Hi community, thanks for the strong support in being able to attach files within Xero Payroll, both for employee records and pay runs. We really appreciate you sharing the value and efficiency this could create for you when working with Xero. It's evident that being able to store important documents like licenses, sick notes, and onboarding papers directly in Xero would remove the need for external storing systems or manual processes.
We acknowledge it's not the end goal but wanted to highlight the use of apps, as some have shared like Dext, to help bridge this gap in the meantime.
I want to assure you that enabling attachments in payroll is part of our long-term intentions. However, to deliver this functionality effectively and reliably, we first need to develop some foundational elements within our payroll platform.

100% agree with all the comments.
It is very frustrating and highly unprofessional to be sending out emails with 2 business names on it.
Like many others, we have 2 business names, 2 logos, 2 sets of email templates and clients in both businesses or only one. Very confusing to clients to receive emails with both names.
The notion of changing the legal name each time is NOT an option that we can do.
The idea of downloading everything first in the second business and then sending from an external email account is, as others have said, a great time waster which we don't have the time to do.
This needs to be addressed urgently!
