    In addition to the above suggestion, it would also be very useful if any notes were imported/published to Xero to the notes file for the transaction. I deal with self employed people who usually have receipts (pay as they go) rather than credit account invoices. Invaribly, they will shop for both personal and business on the same receipt. When processing the receipt (spend money) through hubdoc, I put into the notes, the split between various accounts and any extra info that my accountant may need later. The notes don't copy through to Xero, so I have to remember to find the receipt entry in hubdoc then copy and paste the notes into Xero!! It's very longwinded. The notes made in hubdoc are important to Xero so why aren't they included when the transaction is published to Xero?? It's much easier to make the notes in hubdoc as it's real time while processing the receipt. In Xero, notes have to be added AFTER the transaction has been posted. I need the notes to tell me how to process the transaction so need them BEFORE not after!!

    Hi Clare, if you're adding an expense from within a project, it's expected that the expense you're creating is related to the Project you're in. You could create a Bill within the Bills to pay area where you can assign individual lines of your bill to different Projects.
