Hi Dianne, thanks for sharing your feedback here.
Having a way to temporarily park bank statement lines during reconciliation could make it easier to work through high volumes of transactions without losing your place when an item needs further investigation.
I've updated the status of this idea to Gaining Support. If this is a feature you'd like to see, please continue to vote and share how you currently manage these transactions. Your feedback helps us better understand how this could support different reconciliation workflows.

Thanks for your idea. This isn't something we have plans of ATM but we'll start to get a sense of others that'd like to see this from your idea here.

Hi everyone ✨
Thanks for continuing to share your feedback on this idea. We’ve seen a lot of interest in having more detailed filters in Bank Reconciliation, including separate fields for Spent and Received amounts, and for Bill Numbers and Invoice Numbers 😊
We understand how clearer filtering would make it easier to review transactions, track activity, and find the right items faster when reconciling.
We’re moving this idea to Gaining Support so other customers can vote and add comments. The more detail we can gather on the situations where this would help most, the better this helps our team understand the impact and prioritise future improvements ✨
We’ll continue to monitor the feedback here and share any updates as we have them.

Thanks for your feedback and for pointing out how the term "Reconcile" can be confusing—especially for those new to Xero or bookkeeping.
We get that using clearer terms like "Categorise" or "Allocate" might feel more intuitive and help reduce confusion when working through bank reconciliation.
Right now, this idea’s open for feedback and support, so feel free to keep voting and sharing how a change like this could help in your day-to-day.

Thanks for sharing this idea around being able to further filter the Find and Match options 🙂
We've reviewed it and moved it to Gaining support. This means the idea is now open for other customers to vote on and comment, which helps build a clearer picture of the level of interest and the different ways this could be useful.
If further filtering in Find and Match would improve your workflow, it would be helpful to add a vote or comment with a bit more detail on the types of filters you'd want to use and the scenarios where they would make the biggest difference.
We’ll continue to track the feedback shared here.

Hi everyone, there’s been plenty of great discussion around this idea, and we get how being able to copy bank rules would take a lot of repetition out of setup work.
It’s something we’d like to make happen, but with other priorities in this space right now hasn't been something we can add to the roadmap yet.
It may come to life as part of the ongoing improvements in the Bank Reconciliation area, and we'll defintiely let you know here if there's any progress.

Hi team, while we appreciate you raising your idea here. Not getting much community traction overtime, and not being in our current roadmap we will remove this idea from the forums.
While I appreciate it's not solution you're after, to import transactions that match multiple statement lines you could consider importing these as Invoices or Bills.
With regard to the consideration of templates for split payments, one option could be to use the percentage split option in Bank rules rather than the fixed amount.
If this idea is still important and would make a big impact to your business flows, you're welcome to start it again to see if there is renewed interest from the community.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback here. It has been a while so we just want to refresh this idea's status.
We can see how being able to save a draft reconciliation would help when you're working through more complex matches or need to step away before finishing. Having your progress saved could make it easier to pick up where you left off without starting again.
I've updated the status of this idea to Gaining Support, so please keep adding your votes and share how this would fit into your reconciliation workflow.

Xero NEEDS and UNDO button!
We need to be able to undo last action, regardless of that action whether its a recon (like when you press the reconcile button too quick and then realize you forgot to add some details)

SAVE FOR LATER section within the Reconcilation page
We should be able to add a transaction to the top of the list to a section that doesnt scroll, another tab or click a button to change its colour to signify it is now in a special section for 'saving for later'.
Sometimes a transaction needs looking into further and when doing recon you might end up with half a dozen of these, it would be really handy to be able to group them at the top of page or turn them a different colour so that when continuing on they are out of the way and you know you can ignore them for a little while, instead of scrolling through all of the transactions to get to the next transaction that you CAN actually complete.
If you were to put these in a tab of their own, reminders would need to be present on the currently viewed page to let us know that recon cant be completed until those grouped 'saved for later' transactions are completed (would just need to be a brightly coloured button somewhere on the screen that can be clicked on to take us to the saved for later transactions.
But I think the ability to just change the colour of 'save for later' transactions would be simplist.
