When editing a transaction, if the user clicks the delete button, have an option to ask user, "are you sure you want to delete the transaction?"

Bank feed - FNB South Africa
Bank feed interruptions - First National Bank is causing huge delays and back log of work piling up. I've not been able to connect or refresh clients bank feeds since mid Feb. This is really an ongoing issue.

Virgin money feed - Support for business savings account
"Virgin Money" is available as a bank feed currently but this doesn't cover bank accounts with the 08-60-64 sort code, this is used for Virgin Money's business savings products. The login page for the current feed says that it only supports accounts starting with sort codes 05 and 82.

Open Banking: Enable for all UK banks to allow updates on demand
ALL banks should be able to refresh. I am with The Co-op for my business banking. I was previously with Quickbooks for my accounting software and was able to refresh my bank feed whenever I needed to. With Xero I can't. Being on top of the money in the bank is crucial to business owners. Having to wait a day, or sometimes days, for the information to feed in is debilitating and very frustrating. If the bank can provide the feed to one accounting software company, then the problem is not with the bank. Please, Xero. Please sort this out.…

We are always keen to explore more bank feed integrations to make managing your finances as seamless as possible.
While we know that not all banks are currently on Open Banking, but reaching out directly to your bank is still the most effective step. Let them know you'd like them to adopt Open Banking so you can connect with Xero—banks value hearing directly from their account holders about the connections they need.
In the meantime, we’re moving this product idea to Gaining Support. This will help us gauge broader interest and give other members of the community a place to share their experiences or updates regarding bank feeds with this and other institutions.

Bank feed - Cynergy Business Saver account
For Xero to expand their bank feed connections to develop feed that supports Cynergy Business Saver accounts.
Xero claim to support all bank account types but it does not work with Business Saver accounts.
Note, I do not have a business current account with Cynergy, only a Busines Saver account.
4 votesHi Paul, thanks for sharing this suggestion. We understand the request for a direct bank feed for Cynergy Business Saver accounts, which could reduce the need to manually download and import bank statements. You can refer to this article for more information on supported accounts.
I’ve updated the status to Gaining Support so we can continue tracking interest. While there are no immediate plans from Cynergy to support this account type for bank feed, we’ll keep monitoring feedbacks in this space and update you here if there's movement with this request.

Recognising Bank Account "Spaces" or "Pots" eg Starling, Monzo etc
Most modern banks are now providing this extremely useful facility, so it would make sense for Xero to incorporate recognising these kind of transactions please (rather than us having to manually enter fake transactions to move them out of the bank account.
Xero currently doesn’t show/cope with moving money around Spaces within a bank account?Come on guys, loads of banks are going towards this kind of functionality!
We can even pay DDs right from a Space.Pls can you add maybe “sub-accounts” indented underneath each Bank account to show where…

Stripe Feed - Include transaction details
To enable Stripe reconciliations in Xero I have a Stripe feed in (as a "bank account), but unfortunately it is lacking in information, so when doing reconciliations you still need to open Stripe to find out what payments are for. It would save SO much time if the metadata could be brought through on the feed too, or if there was a way of including more information in the transaction field.

Bank feed - Separate Master card and sub cards feeds
Huge problem with the new update! Maybe it's just me.
Combining all company credit cards into a single feed is creating a significant problem for our accounting process.
We have five different company credit cards assigned to different departments, but the system combines all transactions into one feed and sorts them only by date. This means that at the end of each month, when employees submit their receipts, I have to sort through transactions from five different cards just to reconcile each department's expenses. Currently, our direct feed agreement with CBA is limited to their business and corporate products. However, with the ongoing rollout of Open Banking in Australia, we know there is a lot of interest in seeing more personal account types supported.
I’ve updated the title to "Bank Feeds - Support for Commonwealth Bank (CBA) personal credit cards" so other community members can easily find this and add their votes.
Quick Tip for now: Until a direct feed is available, the most efficient way to get those transactions in is to download an OFX or CSV file from NetBank and use the "Import a Statement" feature in Xero. You can find a step-by-step guide on manual imports here.

Account Transactions Report - View bank statement particulars on the report instead of transactions detail
I would imagine many Xero files have at some time had a person going click happy with the OK button on the dashboard and reconciling to the incorrect entry.
By simply adding a column to choose Bank Statement Particulars in the Account Transactions report we could visually see easily if lines were reconciled to the wrong entry. 85 votesHi everyone, thanks for all the support for a bank feed with Aldermore Bank. We are aware of the interest here, and are currently exploring the possibility of this feed.
As some of you have noted, the best option for now is to manually import your bank statements into Xero. This will help you keep your accounts up-to-date. You can find instructions on how to do this in our Xero Central article here: Import a bank statement.
Another way you can help is by letting Aldermore Bank know you’d like to see them integrate with Xero. We've found that banks are more likely to prioritise building a feed when they hear directly from their own customers. When a new Paypal account is created in Xero and it's integrated with Paypal for bank feeds, all transactions from all the currencies appear in one bank account. However, when due to any reason, this Paypal account in Xero is disconnected from automatic feeds, and is reconnected, all of a sudden Xero pushes to create a new bank account for each currency in Paypal.
It will be very helpful if there's at least an option to either have one bank account for all Paypal currencies (just like it's done in the first time integration), or have a separate bank account…

Bank reconciliation AutoSuggest: Look for already existing contacts before suggesting the creation of new ones
Recently, the bank feeds have started suggesting that I create a new contact "Choice" for automated superannuation payments - payee contains "SuperChoice" - for all my clients, who all already have a contact named "Superannuation" or similar. This is DUMB, and wastes my time every payrun (thank you payday super) because I can no longer just click OK.
Get the autosuggest to look at what is normal in the datafile being worked on, and suggest contacts that already exist, before suggesting the creation of new ones.

Bank feed - Change set up for start date to make this more obvious
The current Xero set-up does not allow the user to change the start date for a bank feed once it has been activated. The start date must be input during the initial set-up and if missed (since it defaults to current date) or is mistyped in error you have to upload historical bank data by CSV. An option in the Bank Account menu to enter an earlier start date would be very useful. Failing that, remove the default so you have to input a start date at initial set-up and a question coming on after that to double check that…

Enabling the ability to change the start date once set up does create quite a few complexities, however I've slightly altered the title of your idea to reflect the behaviour of setup and we'll start to get a wider sense from the community in this here.

Bank Feeds - Streamline 2FA loops for RBC
New RBC Royal Bank Feed Flinks is very cumbersome for 2FA it asks for the code twice. It also cannot see the Line of Credit feeds that has to be refreshed separately compared to the old connector (Yodlee?). Would be great if you could give feedback to Flinks for a faster connection.
