Hi there!
Thanks for sharing such detailed feedback on the bank balance charts.
I’ve categorized this as Gaining Support. While we don't roll back to previous versions of the homepage, I’ve refined your idea to focus on making the balance charts configurable (1, 3, 6, or 12 months).
This covers your need for historical data while allowing for future flexibility.
Since our forum works best with one idea per post, I've focused on the chart visibility first. I’d recommend raising the "balance projection" as a separate suggestion so it can be voted on individually!

Hi everyone, it makes a lot of sense to want a cleaner way to organise dashboard widgets. When related items like bank accounts or invoice summaries are grouped together, it’s easier to find what you need without much scrolling..
For now, you can use the Edit dashboard button at the bottom of the page to reorder widgets—move your most-used ones to the top and hide the rest.
This idea is now Gaining Support, so we can see how many others would like more control over dashboard layout. We’d love to hear how you’d group your widgets—keep the votes and comments coming!

Today I learned with shock that the new dashboard only supports 50 bank accounts for display. Unfortunately, we have more accounts which on the new dashboard layout will not be shown. That is not good for our organisation. The workaround via the "list of accounts" is cumbersome and definitely not an improvement.
If more than 50 bank accounts cannot be displayed on the dashboard or "Home" page, would it be possible to have folders on the dashboard like folders on a PC desktop or on a smartphone? Then I could allocate around 10 bank accounts into one folder according to the organigram and cost centres of our organisation. In that case I would have around 7 folders on the Home page into which the bank accounts could be distributed. If that would be possible, that would be a real and useful improvement and even better than the current dashboard. That would make the dashboard look much cleaner and tidier. The new dashboard is really cladded and not nice to look at.
As PC, laptops and smartphones work a lot with folders for placing apps, I assume it should not be too complicated to have that feature also embedded in Xero.
Should that not be possible, the new dashboard will be a real step backwards for our organisation.
Kind regards,

Thanks so much for taking the time to share this idea with us.
Right now, the new Xero homepage doesn’t support creating your own fully custom widgets. You can customise which of the existing widgets you see, change their order and (for some widgets) adjust their size, but there isn’t a way to build and plug in a brand‑new widget type yet.
We have moved this to Gaining support, while we can’t promise if or when custom widgets will be available, votes and comments on this idea are really valuable, so please keep adding any specific examples of what you’d like a custom widget to do. That kind of detail really helps our product team when they’re exploring what to build next.

The current "Bank Accounts" list has these oversized widgets for each bank account, but at least all bank accounts are listed which is a huge plus compared to the disastrous new Dashboard.
Would be it possible to have the widgets smaller for each account, like on your new dashboard or have them adjustable so that I can have 2, 3 or even 4 bank accounts in 1 row?
As we have over 70 bank accounts, that would be very helpful. Also , it would be a real improvement if bank accounts could be grouped in folders on the "Bank Accounts" list and/or the "Dashboard".
The limitation on the Dashboard not to have more than 50 bank accounts listed is a big set back for us and makes XERO less useful.

Hi community, thank you for all the engagement and we can see the growing interest in improvements to help simplify your view of information on the new Homepage and navigate important information and insights with more ease.
Right now, our team have a few pieces of work underway intended to help with some of the pain points that have been raised here these include:
- More options for the sizing of widgets so you can reduce these frames and better position this information on your screen
- More customisation of information within a widget like being able to remove visuals
- Improving the experience of moving widgets when editing the homepage to make it more obvious when dragging and dropping them to different positions on the page
We’ve also roadmapped further changes for later this year, once everyone is on the new experience. I’ll share more updates as we progress.

Thanks for everyone's feedback on your experience with auto bank rec, here. The aim of this feature is to improve and build more efficiency in your reconciling your bank account, however we understand and appreciate feedback here on where users would prefer to more control and options, as well as the option to dismiss the banner.
Right now, as some in the thread have noted auto reconcile can be turned off for each of your bank accounts at any time. From the main Bank Reconciliation screen, click on the ‘Auto-reconcile’ settings button to manage your settings.
We're currently looking into more controls and settings for auto reconcile that may better suit needs shared in this thread, I'll round back to share more on this as it develops.

Thanks for sharing your feedback on viewing more than 50 bank accounts on the homepage. We appreciate you explaining how important this is for organisations managing larger numbers of accounts.
We've reviewed your idea and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it. Make sure you share your idea with any colleagues that this could benefit so they can add their vote too!
Along with votes, other members can now comment to share additional detail about how your idea could improve their experience with Xero.

Hi team, we appreciate all the feedback we've received from our customers about the Dashboard and how we could improve this for you.
As you may have seen or perhaps even have access to already - over the coming months we are releasing a new Xero Homepage that'll replace the existing Dashboard.
We've done lots of research and testing with our customers for the new homepage. You'll be able to customise to show which widgets you want, and it's built with updated technology so is much more responsive - adapting based on your device, screen size and zoom functions to show a maximum of 4 widgets side-by-side!
I'll update you again here when this is live to you all, and if you'd like to give it a go now - jump on into the demo co 😊

As we have many bank accounts (more than 50), the new dashboard became obsolete for us as not all bank accounts are shown. So, what's the point of having new dashboard?
The "bank account" tab still shows ALL bank accounts. As Mark Devaney points out, I also would appreciate if the list of bank accounts would be more flexible like the old dashboard. I do not need these huge widgets for each bank account. If they could be shown in 2 or 3 o4 columns that would be perfect. Also the possibility to reorder them according to our needs would be necessary (that already is possible but only in one long column).
