Thanks for your feedback and letting us know how we could improve the way duplicates alerts work for you here.

While we don't have any immediate changes planned for this, our team will consider improvements to this model overtime.

For the time being we'll continue to keep our eyes on the support for this in community, here. I'll share if there is any news.

I am fed up with this too. A simple account option to silence them is needed. There are other popups for things like your payment system that regularly get in the way. A dismiss button should be permanent, not a snooze.

Hi everyone, appreciate your continued feedback on new invoicing. As mentioned in my last update we've now added a new Xero Central page for new invoicing.

Along with updates to individual ideas on Xero Product Ideas, this page will become the single source of truth for key feature rollouts including:

    • what’s available in new invoicing right now,
    • timelines for features and enhancements going live in new invoicing, as well as
    • a comparison table between the classic and newer versions of invoicing.

We'll be updating this page regularly.

Relating to some of the more recent feedback there are some existing ideas that may also be of particular interest that you can join, like the ability to see the email the invoice was sent to in the history, or being able to see a timestamp, and reducing clicks and steps.

Please keep classic invoicing. I just discovered an invoicing error caused by your switching from classic to new and not respecting the vat inclusive/exclusive setting. This resulted in the customer being undercharged. Xero, please stop messing with our business procedures - it’s unwelcome and more trouble than it is worth. At the very least make it opt-in and stop bullying us with a one-day only usage.

Please don’t behave like Sonos and take away something that works and replace it with a fancy inferior product. Listen to your customers. We prefer classic invoicing because it works and don’t want to be forced to use something that doesn’t. Keep both available and don’t bully us with a 24 hour switchback, that’s just annoying to suit your own agenda. If you didn’t bargain on all this pushback maybe you should have done a better job on your development. The pain for us is real and we pay for this service. Don’t be like Sonos.

Hi community, thanks for sharing your continued interest here. We appreciate the importance of having assurance that mail you send from Xero is being received, and that being able to send from your own company email would increase confidence in this process.

I can confirm this idea has been continually reviewed by our product teams, and being able to send from your own company email is on their radar. Currently there are other priorities, and platform work that requires their attention, before they can consider this more deeply.

When there is opportunity to pick this up, I will share any news with you all here.
