This is available on rubbish free software. The fact this is over 2 years old and not implemented however subscription fees have almost doubled in that time, goes to show a decent competitor in the market will do very well and we can all bin Xero for the greedy waste of space tech company they are.

Absolute effing joke. Xero don't care about accountants. We're total smucks and they built their software off our backs. As soon as alternative is available, I'm ditching Xero and never ever coming back.
I'd recommend everyone start looking elsewhere for software or even going back to older methods. We already have to reduce our margin to accommodate their greedy price increases. Now limiting functionality is a joke.
I've spoken to Xero staff at a high level about this and the give zero monkeys about accountants or this issue. It's £33 plus vat just to use a ledger client and do a vat return. They've removed vat cashbook it's even more difficult. I'm waiting for Brightbooks to launch and will probably move to that. I recommend you all do the same.
