Hi everyone, thank you for continuing to share how important it is to clearly identify bills that need attention before they’re paid. We understand the impact this has on teams managing bills and avoiding payments being made before a query is resolved.
While a user control flagging mechanism is not directly in the pipeline yet, we want you to know that your feedback and the volume of support here is getting to the right places.
Our product teams are continuing to consider this wider workflow (not just adding a standalone flag) as they plan and shape our direction for bills.
We’re working towards making it easier to manage payments out of your business, with clearer ways to understand which bills need action as part of a more connected bills and payments experience.
The new bills approval flow which we’re currently developing is an example of this - once available admins…

Hi community, we thank you for your feedback on the value of being able to flag a Sales invoice as in dispute. We know a clear way to mark these invoices would be helpful.
Similarly to our update for Supplier invoices there are a few options you may want to consider to currently highlight Sales invoices in this situation;

- Update the reference to add a notation such as [reference number] - 'In dispute'
While we know these aren't perfect solutions, we hope these may help some in the conversation right now.
We appreciate your enthusiasm for this feature, and we want to be transparent about where it stands, and this is an idea that…

I requsted this for A/R. When I used a different system there was a drop down menu on the invoice line & you could pick a Q for query & then the date it was put in query.
Once clicked on you could put on the query notes & also a resoloution date.
We also moved the due date on by 7 days from the date that the query was resolved but this would not work for all companies.
On the statements the line still showed but it also showed the Q on the invoice line.
At the bottom there was a line that said Any lines with a Q on them are currently in query & being looked into. This way the customer knows not to pay & that we are looking at it.
I currently use a query log in Excel for A/R invoices in query which can be time consuming but it helps.
Why would you need this for A/P when you approve any invoices not in dispute for payment. If in dispute do not approve them, simple
