Totally agree, I've never struck a payroll system that doesn't allow payslips to be sent prior to finalising for exactly the reasons you say, my staff can be late in entering timesheets which then alters their hours etc.

We are currently using Workflow Max and with it being discontinued from June 2024 and us also using an old accounting system we have just switched across to Xero including payroll, projects and accounting.

I was not made aware that it wasn't possible to transfer our current data base of clients, jobs, invoices, timesheets etc from Workflow Max to Projects. This will mean I have to manually enter 10 years worth of data. Absolutely not going to happen I will find another system that can import this information and I would suggest other users of Workflow Max looking for a new project software platform will feel the same
