Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback here. This has been shared back with our product team who are keeping a close eye on feedback surrounding this new experience.
While there was a lot of testing around the placement and font sizing of each element in the new experience we appreciate there are differences in how and what details businesses would like to show on their invoices.
We don't have immediate plans of change however I'll be sure to let you know here if there are any plans made.

Hi team, you'll have seen that we have introduced a new Invoice template editor that will soon replace the Standard branding in organisations.
While fonts are limited at present, and we don't have intentions of developing the ability to support every font imaginable our product team are very interested to know if there are specific font's your business would typically use and like to see added.
Please do share in this thread and I'll keep you updated if further options are added to the new Invoice template editor.

Thank you everyone, for sharing your feedback on the new invoice template editor.
While we hear your concerns, we don’t accept ideas asking us to remove a new feature or restore an old experience. That said we want to hear your feedback on how we can improve the new experience.
In relation to feedback on the invoice title - We've recently released an update in the Advanced section of the editor where you have multiple options for the Invoice title, a couple of preselections or the ability to set your own custom title.
I've linked some ideas started around changes users would like to see below, and encourage you to add your vote where of interest to you. This'll be highly valuable to the team and we'll be able to keep you updated on related changes

Thanks everyone for your feedback on the invoice print option. We know how much our customers value efficient workflows, and appreciate you sharing your thoughts on how the current "Print PDF" button works.
For those of you looking for a smoother printing experience, a helpful workaround is to set your browser to automatically open PDFs in your preferred viewer after downloading. This can save you a few clicks in the process.
In the interest of transparency, a direct print PDF functionality that go through the download step isn't in our development plans.
You can continue to vote on this idea so if our position changes in the future we will update you all, here.

I agree with opinions voiced here. I have only ever used the new invoicing but you used to be able to click approve & print which opened the pdf to print, efficient & quick, now following some update at some point it either downloads a copy which I don't want or need so I have to find it, open it & remember to delete it at some point or approve the invoice then click preview once the screen has changed then print...........spend a lot of time waiting for screens to load to print..........this is not an improvement but a serious & time wasting step back......please revert to the old way.

I used to be able to click "approve & print" and it would open a PDF to print but now it downloads it instead so I either have to acknowledge a message, wait for it to download and click on it to open before printing and then clear out my downloads file at the end of they day or approve it, then click preview, wait for it to display then print. There was always an option to download if needed but now you have taken away the ability to quickly print adding time to the whole process - please put it back to what it was or give us an option to print in one click. This is a backwards move.

Quotes - Add contact information.
It would be really good and time saving if there was the ability to add contact details on the quote screen. At the moment if it is a new contact, once I have done the quote and saved it I then have to open up the contact and select add details. With a new invoice all this can be done from the invoice screen, much more sensible and time saving. I have to compile a lot of quotes for new customers and it is a real inconvenience having to either set the contact up as new first or wait till the quote is done and saved and click into the contact and select edit/add details. If it can be done for invoicing then surely it can be done for quotes.
The new invoice template that has just been released, why does the amount have to appear in three places & why is the font so big & bold, it uses up too much space, that along with the issue date/invoice number/reference now having moved from the top right means that there is so little workable space for the invoice. How about going back to the old design or at least giving the option to be able to remove, move and or change font sizes so that it doesn't take up so much space. The writing is so big & bold that it looks like you are shouting at your customers, a bit like typing a text all in capitals is seen as shouting. Customers don't like it, they say it doesn't need to be so big and why does the total/amount due appear three times, overkill is what one customer said. What is the point of the thick line at the bottom of the page, how about the ability to remove that, it is pointless, just uses up space & ink. If you are going to make pointless changes at least give us the option to remove them or alter them, we don't all fit into one small box, all businesses are different, we shouldn't be stuck with a generic template that can't be altered in any way. Another backward step.
