Thanks for the detail of why the Short term cashflows option is not viable for you here, Karl.
We don't have any immediate plans around this but will keep an eye on the appetite here and let you know if there's any plans made.

An option to add Expected Date in bulk for invoices would be amazing! Having to do this for each individual invoice to forecast weekly and or monthly is so time consuming.
We use another software that integrates with Xero for our forecasting. To get a more accurate forecast of what we can expect in the way of payments on a weekly basis. I add the Expected Date in Xero. For clients who I know will always pay on the 20th it would be so useful to tick those clients and add the date rather then having to do it one at a time. -

We appreciate wanting to see more rapid movement, everyone. Having done a lot of exploration into this area our team have a good handle on the needs to solve this, however we want to be honest that development will be some time away with the team currently focused on improving bills list views and updating add/edit bill pages. For the time being to keep you up to date we're going to move this idea back to Submitted until more active work takes place for this.
I can assure you this idea is the best place to be leaving feedback for this feature, and Xero Product Ideas as a whole is the best place to be sharing where you'd like to see change across Xero products. Agree! Having the option to bulk add an Expected (payment) Date would save so much time. Would be such a simple addition yes extremely helpful
