Hi community, thank you for all sharing with us here in product ideas. We've been taking your feedback on board seriously and there is work underway atm for the line item grid that'll improve your experience when you enter detail of your invoices.
Along with other improvements one of the changes this work will provide is the ability to add new rows to your invoice, and be able to shift these around to where you'd like them placed within your invoice.
I'll shift to working on it and round back to confirm once this is released and available to you all to make use of.

Hi everyone, as another step toward improving history of new invoicing you'll find you'll now see an entry when an invoice is sent, and the email address it has been sent to.
We appreciate this is something we've heard a fair amount of feedback on and we hope helps in your journey to using new invoicing.
We still have more enhancements on the way for history and I'll be back again when more updates land.

Hi team, thanks for sharing and showing your interest on the idea, here. Atm our product team are doing some work to improve the line item grid and as part of this the item field will also see some improvement. Once the changes are released for the edit page you'll be able to view more items for each drop down option in the grid.
I'll keep you updated of the release for this here.

Hey community, 👋 thanks for all your support on this idea, I’m pleased to let you know that this has been delivered for UK Payroll initially! It includes the ability to select the date range you’re interested in, and check boxes to either select all results or multiple. Then you can download your selection as a single PDF of multiple payslips.
For users in AU and NZ we know this is a highly anticipated feature, however to be open this is not any immediate plans for those teams so we’ll leave this idea open. While we appreciate it doesn’t help employers needing bulk downloads, employees can be invited into the Xero Me portal to self-serve payslip collection.

What an arrogant and uncaring response to your Australian and NZ customers who were first on board before your expansion across the globe.
I assume you are working on the premise that it is too difficult for customers to change system providers, but I would be very careful about taking that road, I for one am advising friends and other small companies that Xero may not be the best way forward for them, and I know others are doing the same thing. In the long run, bad publicity is never good for any business.

Have commented regularly on this request and find it difficult to understand why XERO provides no comment or update to the many requests and comments to users.
This is very real and required report in Australia, and shouldn’t be difficult to provide. Anyone with access and system knowledge can pull a report from any system. Why is this not given priority?Carole Robinson

Poor show XERO. so many people requesting this function and probably 10 times more than follow this site. This reporting requested effects employers Australia wide and it seems you just ignore it. How many more years before your programmers can create this very simple report. …. Perhaps you could give us access to write our own reports ??🤔

I would add, that this report should be one line item for each payrun in columns. A very easy report that will fulfill govt detail requirements, with total at the bottom of each column (detail).

We've started trialling the New Invoice option but have already hit a hurdle. We perform work for many Govt and Council tenders and have a large list of Products and Services that are required to align with the tender numbering. On the old invoice process, we could access all items to choose the required one, on the new invoice process we only have access to the first 50 items. Our only option currently is to have a printed copy of the P&S list on our desk to identify the code we need to input. Surely a scroll button should have been implemented giving access to the full list, no matter how many there are. This is a frustrating backward step!
We will continue to use the existing invoice system until we can't (2nd September apparently!!)
