Thanks for the response and continued support in this idea, everyone.
Work for partial billing of a purchase orders is taking shape. ✨
To give a taster of what this'll look like - when you create a bill from a purchase order you'll be able to enter the amounts of each item you'd like to bill, and your Approved purchase order will show the amount of each item Billed.
I'll come back to share as soon as the feature begins roll out!

Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback here. We appreciate there are more details some in the idea here would like to see around reporting of Purchase orders in Xero.
We wanted to highlight for those in the conversation that it may help - There are Purchase order common formats in the Payable Invoice Detail report that you could use.
For example, in the All purchase orders detail report, you can add a column to show the account, tracking and any other line item info you need.
We want to be open that we don't have any plans right now for additional Purchase order reporting, however we'll continue to keep an eye on the idea here and share if there is any news.

I agree with Helen, I cant see the point in raising purchase orders if you can't run a report to check what your future commitments are. It makes producing a cash flow and projected outturn report almost impossible.

This is the only finance system I have come across where you cant do this. I really like every thing else about Xero however it is the deal breaker for me.
