Thanks for taking the time to share this idea — we can see why this would be helpful.
We've now moved this idea to Gaining Support 🌟. This means we've recognised it as a valid feature request and we're now gathering feedback from customers to help us understand the level of demand and the impact it’s having.
We agree it would make sense for the resignation date to flow through automatically into the final report when that information is already available in the Company Information section.
At the moment, this isn’t done automatically, so the current workaround is to manually include the resignation date in the director details where needed for presentation in the final accounts.
If this is something you'd like to see improved, please add your vote and any extra detail about how it affects your workflow. That helps our product team better understand the demand and the use case.

This would be invaluable for accounting practices and surely couldn't be that hard to add to the report?

I agree, we tend to have one journal posting for the year end, which can be added to numerous times. The journal report is then very cluttered and hard to follow, so having the option to exclude the reversals and only show final journals would be great.
