Xero if you're serious about project management - being able to assign the project quickly during the bank reconciliation process / cash coding is critical to managing multiple projects in a small business. Most small businesses don't have a big team of Admin staff to do the work big business does.
The current process is overly time consuming and inefficient - we use a card app which imports into Xero in an integration. I can assign tracking categories in the card app which are then imported into Xero. Lets do this with a Project Code.
To currently assign a project I need to edit the transaction before matching it and then assign it to a project. If Xero is built with relational databases, tables systems need a project code to link the banking table in the database to the Xero Project table.Georgina Orchard supported this idea ·
