Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on the frequency of the BNZ bank feed. We understand that getting timely transaction data is crucial for keeping your accounts up-to-date.
The way the direct feed from BNZ is currently set up means that transactions made over weekends and public holidays are sent through to us on the following business day. This is why you'll typically see these transactions appear in Xero on a Tuesday.
We will keep this idea open for the community to continue voting on. Your votes help us, and our banking partners like BNZ, to gauge demand and prioritise these potential improvements. We’ll be sure to post an update here if there’s any news to share.

Most major NZ banks offer a daily feed to Xero, why does it still not work with BNZ, when they changed to seven business days years ago? Very frustrating for our customers (who keep receiving invoice reminders even after they've paid, e.g., when they paid over a weekend) and for us as a business, as we need to mark invoices manually to avoid customers receiving payment reminders.
And how is this post sitting here since 2023, and nothing has changed? -

Thanks for your patience, it’s been a little while since you raised this idea, so we wanted to check in. We've now reviewed this idea and have moved it to Gaining Support status. Our product team are keeping an eye on this idea and we will continue to share updates as things evolve.

Absolutely support this idea! If any kind of leave taken would be visible on timesheets, it would make so much sense!
