    🌟 Thanks for raising this idea and for taking the time to share how this affects your workflow.

    We understand that when logos or images from email signatures are pulled through with documents, it can create extra clean-up, clutter the files that are imported, and make it harder to quickly identify and process the documents you actually need.

    We’ve reviewed your idea and moved it to Gaining Support, so other customers can vote and add comments to share how this behaviour impacts their experience and why improving it would be valuable.

    The feedback and examples shared here are helpful for our product teams as they build a better understanding of the real-world impact this has on customers using Smart Capture.

    Yes I just googled this to see if there was a way to prevent it and I landed here. I noticed that when scrolling through the unnecessary attachments captured that the icons including the delete option are not there so I have no known way to delete the junk logos. Any ideas?

    Hi everyone, we’ve taken time to review the suggestion to include custom fields for both invoices and contacts, and recognise the value it'd bring in helping users capture more detailed information and avoid manual processes.

    However, with other focuses drawing the teams attention such as multiple addresses this idea is not on our current development roadmap.

    As we continue to plan future roadmaps, being highly supported this idea will continue to be considered, however we want to be open about it's current position with you all here. We appreciate you sharing your feedback and for your ongoing participation in the Xero community. Any changes to this status will be shared with everyone on this idea.

    How has this not been implemented yet? I’m on the trial period and am now actively looking for another program as it seems clear that Xero will not be changing this restrictive functionality. How in 2025 is this not a thing?
