Hey folks, thanks for the idea and support here. We appreciate all the valuable feedback and ideas shared regarding timesheet reminders ⏰
We understand that the ability to easily remind employees to fill out timesheets would make things easier and save you time.
Our product team is currently investigating potential solutions for this but at this early stage there are no specific time frames available. We’ll be sure to let you know if there’s any change, though!

We have sub-contractors who we need timesheets for in order for us to invoice the client, and then we also need to attach their timesheet to their sub-contractor invoice when it comes in - it would be great to have a way to capture/link these on Xero

Another feature that would be great is to allow clients to sign off timesheets daily or weekly via the employee app before the employee submits their timesheet and have the ability to PDF individual timesheets to send with invoices to the client

Great news team, work has been moving along well and I'm pleased to share our teams are developing the ability for employees to self-onboard by entering their own onboarding details within Xero Payroll in Australia.
We appreciate the extra admin and time this will take back for Payroll admins to be able to focus on the more critical payroll tasks. Currently in testing with a small group of users, I look forward to coming back with more details as we progress to release.

We currently use paper based timesheets for non-office based employees as there is no ablity to add extra details via XeroMe (e.g., no job details, no ability for clients to sign off)
