Appreciate how you'd like to do this within Xero, however just to confirm it's currently possible to import budgets with more periods.
You'll just need to make sure to format the dates in your import file - more on this here.
If you'd like a practice run, try it in the demo company before importing into your own org 🙂

This can be done by exporting the budget to excel, opening the new budget (to be copied to) and importing the excel, but it would be easier if there was a simple "copy to" button.

The ability to enter annualized budgets in one column in the budget manager tool and have it automatically allocate that amount evenly across all months would also be useful.

It would be convenient if the dropdown for future months extended further than one future fiscal year. This can be circumvented by entering the second next fiscal year budget using the next fiscal year's months, and copying it to the correct months at year-end, when the next year's month become available, but this creates unnecessary additional work at year-end.
