Hi everyone, we know this remains a highly important request, and we appreciate the volume of detail you’ve shared around billing, delivery and contact management workflows in this idea.
As shared in our last update - our team has been progressing the next phase of work needed to bring this more meaningfully into invoicing.
We know many of you are looking for clearer timing, and while I’m not able to confirm a release date at this stage, I do want to reassure you this remains an active area of work for our product teams.
We’ll continue to return here with further updates as we move through the next stages. Thanks again for your patience and for continuing to share the workflows that make this so important.

Kelly, can you please provide a REAL update to this ongoing issue.
If Xero is not going to provide a fix for this within the system in the immediate future, please advise that this is the case. Our business, and the businesses of all of the people who have commented in the past decade to this BASIC issue, as well as all of those who have not taken the time to communicate the issue, are being effected by Xero's lack of communication, development and transparency.
If Xero is not going to provide this incredibly basic feature, please at least provide details for apps that can be used to allow for cost and time savings to countless businesses.
As stated in a few comments I have seen on these threads lately, it does seem as if Xero has gone from a business that listens to their client base to one that is only seems to care about it's bottom line. I do wonder how Xero is able to function using their own accounting system with only one address available per client or supplier? Bet it's sorted for Xero's own use.

This is the most limiting feature in Xero. We have multiple clients with multiple delivery addresses. Only being able to save one delivery address per client is an antiquated, limiting feature and very close to enough of a reason to leave Xero.

Thanks for your feedback, Christine! While there's no direct button to 'Mark as sent' if you select 'Print PDF' you'll see you get an option to 'Mark as sent' however you will need to Print and download the PDF of your device for this action to complete.
We'll get a sense of the interest in a specific button for this from your idea here, but hopefully this option helps for now. 😊

Hi community, we appreciate your continued feedback on having different default email addresses for various transaction types in Xero contacts, and the manual steps involved to ensure you're communicating with the right person for different purposes.
Currently, one way of managing this in Xero would be to include every additional person on a contact record in emails, and then removing those that aren't required when sending each transaction. However we totally get this isn't the ideal solution.
While being able to set different email addresses for differing transaction types is something we want to address longer term, like the idea for multiple addresses work for this feature requires cross-collaboration between teams in order to achieve.
Once the multiple addresses feature is live this is something we'll be able to consider more closely and provide further updates on.
We do regularly review all ideas here, and your input is vital. We'll…

Hi everyone, development for being able to partially bill / part receive purchase orders is well underway. The intention is when you create a bill from a purchase order you'll be able to enter the amounts of each item you'd like to bill.
On your Approved purchase order you'll also be able to view amount of items Billed.
We look forward to updating you again as soon as this feature launches. 😁

Hi team, while we appreciate hearing your feedback on the new purchase orders experience we do request that each post be limited to a single idea to help other members know what they're voting for, as well as sharing back with our product teams and considering changes. I've updated the title of the idea here around the whitespace and welcome you to create new ideas for other specifics you'd like to see.
To provide an update around the attachments - our team recently implemented a change to move the placement of this button to the top of the page next to Save and Approve options.
Relating to lines - with how this new experience now works when you add an item, or enter an amount in a line the Quantity will default to '1', also adding an item will automatically add a new row beneath. Thanks

Curious as to what you moved to? Feeling inclined to start the painful process pf moving given the lack of Xero's commitment to existing customers.
