There is still no way to create a proper branded packing slip or delivery note in Xero. The only workaround is to build a custom DOCX "invoice" template, strip the pricing out of it, and then swap branding themes back and forth every time you raise an invoice. It is clumsy, error prone, and forces a delivery document onto an invoice layout that was never designed for it.
Any business that ships or hands over physical goods needs a packing slip. It is a standard trade document, not a niche edge case. Give it its own template type inside the branding theme, sitting alongside Invoice, Credit Note, Statement, Purchase Order and Quote, with the fields that actually belong on it: line items, quantities, SKU or batch number, and the ship-to address, with no pricing columns forced on us.
This gap has sat here for years while customers paper over it with manual Word docs, bolt-on apps, or theme-switching mid-workflow. Competitors handle this out of the box. Every order that leaves on a hacked invoice template is a reminder that a core document type is missing. Please make Packing Slip a first-class, brandable template.
