Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback on the needs for leave approvers to view upcoming leave for their team. We appreciate you highlighting how important it is to have better oversight of team leave without needing full payroll access.
Our product team is looking into how this idea may fit into a wider review of team management in AU payroll. This is in the early stages of review so not currently on the team’s roadmap, but we'll keep you updated as we learn more.

Thank you all for getting behind this idea and sharing your thoughts on how beneficial a shared leave calendar could be for team management and scheduling.
Our product team has been following this idea and agree that creating a shared calendar is a feature we would love to develop. However, it’s not currently on our immediate product roadmap, as we are prioritising other improvements at this time. We’ll continue to review and monitor interest in this request.
In the meantime, manually maintaining a separate calendar outside of Xero may help bridge the gap. We’ll update this thread if there are any plans made for a calendar within Xero.

Allow permission-based access for leave approvers.
Show more detail for each day (rather than bullet points).
Having moved from QBO Payroll ... it is a feature lost.
Our Team Leaders could previously 'at a glance' determine leave approvals based on visibility of future Team / All Staff leave.It is a high value function for HR/P&C/Team Lead roles.

We can see you raised this a little while ago, thank you for your patience whilst it was being reviewed. We can see this idea has been steadily gaining support so have now updated the status accordingly. Whilst this is not currently on our product team's roadmap, they are keeping an eye on this idea and we will continue to share updates as things evolve.
