Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on this idea. We appreciate you sharing how important accurate leave accruals are for managing payroll when employees work at different rates across various days or departments.

While we aren't able to add this to our roadmap right now, we want to make sure you are aware that it is currently possible to set up leave to accrue on more than one earnings rate.

As mentioned in this thread, the key is to set the Rate Type for these additional items to "Multiple of Employee's Ordinary Earnings Rate".

Please refer to our support article Set up overtime or earnings that accrue leave for a guide on how to do this. We'll keep this thread active for future feedback.

Absolutely unacceptable oversight on this platform - I have 200+ staff on award based payments with shift loadings etc, which per Fair Work must be paid EXACTLY to the pay guide.

By only allowing super-attracting and leave-accruing ordinary time pay items to be multiples of the employee's base rate (rather than a set dollar value whenever the pay item comes up) I have to manually alter, for every single staff member, the dollar values for
Mon-Fri Night Rate (1.217 x base rate - but rounded up in the pay guide so needs to be manually edited)
Mon-Fri Permanent Night Rate ((1.3 x base rate - but rounded up in the pay guide so needs to be manually edited)
Saturday 24h Rate (1.5 x base rate - but rounded up in the pay guide so needs to be manually edited)
Sunday 24h Rate (2 x base rate - but sometimes is rounded up in the pay guide so needs to be manually edited)
Public Holiday Rate (2.5 x base rate - but rounded up in the pay guide so needs to be manually edited)

This burns 15+ admin hours per payroll, manually editing every single rate on every single employee - all for lack of a check box! Unnaceptable in 2026.
