Thanks for continuing to share your feedback and engage with us through this idea, everyone.

We recognise the importance of providing greater flexibility when managing the authorisation of super payments, particularly now that Payday Super is in effect.

I’m pleased to share that we’re working on an update to authorisation for Xero Payroll’s auto super.

You’ll soon be able to nominate a list of eligible authorisers when setting up auto super or editing an existing registration. Each super payment will still require approval from one person, but you’ll be able to select which nominated authoriser receives the SMS code for that payment.

We’ll share another update as soon as this is available.

This is an alright step forward however doesn't help with only one person getting the code, it just makes it so more than one person can authorise, I can get any of my staff to process the super but I still need to log in and put the code in as I am still the only person that has a phone that gets the codes....we need to be able to get the codes emailed, this is the only way this can be helpful.

Hi everyone, we just wanted to provide a quick update on this one as the upcoming payday super changes will be top of everyone's minds.

The current approval step is important for both cash flow management and security and the community has also suggested a few different ideas on how to approach this:

If either of these ideas reflects what’d work best for you, please add your vote, to help us get a clearer understanding what matters most to our community.

When we’re through the thick of EOY and initial payday super is rolled out, our product team will circle back around to these ideas to review.

This would be great help, it would remove me from having to be the sole authoriser for over 100 superannuation payments that will now have to be done each week. I can have the other Bookkeepers in the team also processing wages and super for clients.
