Hiya team, popping in with an update with payday super changes at the front of everyone's mind.
While we’re continuing to monitor interest in this idea, we don’t have any plans at this stage to change how Xero Verify works to include authorising Super payments.
We appreciate feedback on alternative ways to authorise and wanted to share other ideas you may have interest in supporting and staying updated on:
- Setting up multiple auto super authorisers - currently in discovery
- AU Payroll - Option for Auto Super approval code sent to email instead of phone - currently gaining support

I am trying to do payroll in a country that doesn't support my sim card. Fortunately, it's not NEXT MONTH yet when it becomes a requirement to pay super at the same time as employees.
1. There's a username and password required to log in.
2. There's then a 2FA Authenticator app check.
3. There's then a second requirement to validate your email to file pay with the ATO.
4. And then for this there's a requirement to have access to your mobile phone network (NOT just your phone) to pay super, which is subject to nearly zero fraud as it only goes into Super accounts!!!
This is the silliest security strategy ever.
